The 'shrill' smear against Hillary Clinton

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/09/cnn-second-presidential-debate-analysis-2016-213154

Carly Fiorina—Most people will probably give her the win—and she had some great moments. Though better than most on stage, she teetered on being rude (interrupting others frequently) and Trump seemed to get under her skin a bit when harping on her tenure at Hewlett-Packard (his most substantive critique of anything in the campaign to date). It wouldn’t hurt her to smile once in a while. Or once.

wow... imagine that... they talk about her tone and body language.

You are so unbelievably pathetic in your attempts to spin away from the FACT that body language, tone, AND message are always dissected. Or do you forget the 'sigh' that cost Al Gore in the polls?

You JUST got done saying above they discussed how Rubio DELIVERED the policies/message. WTF do you think delivery is about? It is about TONE and body language.

Yet you say we should NEVER discuss the tone of Hillary. THAT is how pathetic you are. You want people to take it easy on the 'poor little woman'. It is so unbelievably sexist of you.

Where in the OP are Hillary's specific policies being discussed? Let's start with that.

LMAO... why is that Christie? Because you want to avoid the FACT that body language and TONE have been discussed about all the candidates? That your bullshit about NEVER talking about Hillary's tone is just that... BULLSHIT???

You are simply trying to avoid admitting you were wrong. So do fuck off.

You are being willfully ignorant. Where in the entire article are these words: "a lot of it, with Carly Fiorina, has to do with style and delivery", "she shouts", "there is something unrelaxed about the way she communicates", "I'm sorry to dwell on the tone issue", "reminds me of the landlady yelling", "when Trump shouts it's because he's angry with injustice, when Carly shouts it's a character flaw"...

If you can't or won't understand that the article is about style, delivery and tone rather than content, butt out. You're too dumb for this topic.

AS for the OP Christie... they clearly were trying to trump up the faux outrage regarding 'sexist' comments about Hillary. That is what the article was about. Not about policies. They were trying to get the female voters pissed that the poor little woman was being treated unfairly.

I think that Hillary Clinton's talking voice comes across as yelling even when she isn't trying to yell. I wouldn't describe her speaking style as easy to listen to, comforting, or coming across as sincere but it's also not something that people should decide their vote on. The person I want to vote for is Ted Cruz and he also gets criticized for how he speaks and so I try not to focus too much on it for either side, but their speaking styles and voices do turn people off.

You've nailed Christies MO.

It ain't easy to shape words with a forked tongue. Remember Guantanamo George's problems ?

I wonder why nobody on the right said this about Palin, the queen of shrill and bombastic.

I'm pretty sure her voice was made fun of too from what I remember but I personally do not like her public speaking style.

I specifically used the term shrill to describe her speech supporting Trump, just a few weeks ago.

Palin was smeared, ridiculed, and attacked- by every leftist, and many moderates. Christiefan and Rana have done so.

I know the left made fun of it, but don't recall anything from the right.

It's understandable that a republican or democrat wouldn't want to make fun of or condemn one of their own if it could hurt their candidate. Look at the defense of Clintons voice and speaking style from democrats for example. You have to know that there are probably a lot of democrats and fans of Clinton that probably wish that she would speak differently so that it doesn't come across like she is yelling or that she is shrill. They can't say it publicly but you know many people think it. I wish that Cruz wouldn't do certain things when he speaks.

her voice is authoritarian as well as shouting..I would not use "shrill" -but she comes of as lecturing while shouting.
It sounds like I have to do what she says, or I'm some kina reactionary.

* full disclosure is I despise her*
