this make entirely no sense
what are you trying to say?
And it's pretty good.
"I wouldn't be much of a Christian if I didn't stand on the side of gospel for the poor, because, the last time I checked, that's where my master Jesus stood, and I'll stand with Him. And, for now, that means I stand with Bernie Sanders."

Helping the poor is one thing and I do think that more Christians should reach out to poor people and do more, but just giving people everything for free without encouraging people to work hard and provide for your family AND others isn't what I think Jesus had in mind. We shouldn't have the belief that everything will be taken care of for us through a government. If anything I would say that if Bernie Sanders was saying that more people should go to church, help the poor, work hard, and live the way Christ would want us to then I think i'd be on his bandwagon, but he doesn't say that sort of thing. He is definitely wanting to show that he will fight for the downtrodden but he doesn't really talk about how they are going to get out of that situation and stay out of that situation and then help others. Or has he?
Preach it sister.
Jesus was very clear that he was addressing people, not governments. It was all of us he spoke to. The so called evangelical seems to have completely misinterpreted the Gospel. It's not uncommon.
I just know for me if somebody loaned me money or food or did something nice for me i'd be totally dedicated to paying them back or returning the favor as quickly as possible. I don't like asking for help and I absolutely do not have an expectation of help from anybody not even my own parents. It bothers me even now knowing that my parents are helping me pay for college because I know that it will take a long time for me to pay them back which I will do even though they have said that they don't want me to. I think for a lot of people that rely on government money once they get used to receiving help it gets harder and harder for them to have the confidence in themselves to shape their own present and future. It's like when your lifestyle is dependent on a check in the mail and if you stop getting that check then you are basically in the gutter again then I think that's the point when a person should have that drive to want to make that government check meaningless. I know it's probably easier said than done for many people but that doesn't mean that it cant be done.

Personal responsibility is in short supply and all but absent in the parasite class.
