The Trump problem

Indeed.

For all of those years I watched Manny Pacquiao ascend, conventional wisdom always told me, "Oh, oh, this guy's too big for Manny," "this guy's too big and strong for Manny," "this guy's too big, too strong, and too fast for Manny."

Sometimes conventional wisdom doesn't apply.

Don't be surprised to see New York in play. It'll be a Queens native who spouts blue-collar wisdom infused with Yiddish against a carpet-bagging liar who falsely claims Jewish heritage.

We have considerable libtard population, but we also have a Republican population that has been waiting for something other than the go-along-to-get-alongs for quite some time. We're still the only state that ever sent a third party conservative to the US Senate.

I'm just surprised that so many of the whiners don't recognize that they wanted someone to come forward who wasn't "beholden" to anyone and now that they've got their wish, it scares the crap out of them.

:chesh:

Letting them what? Letting them into the party? Letting them vote?

No, "letting them in" but NOT disassociating the GOP from the likes of Falwell and his ilk. Instead, they embraced them as advocates and allies on the campaign trails....then tried to cut them off after Reagan got elected. As history shows, that was a mistake.

Trump's support isn't coming from evangelical right wing Christians. His main support is coming from the blue collar white guys without college degrees.

If you say so....those blue collar guys were also part of the evangelical fringe element that supported Reagan via their preachers urgings.

Trump does not have the support of the evangelicals. He has a "special place" where he keeps bibles, it's very nice. Trump's support comes from the middle. These people are angry and want an outsider, but they don't want an evangelical or an ideologue. Instead they are supporting a progressive populist.

That being said. Most people who didn't want to vote for McCain or Dole will feel less reticence if Trump is the nominee. So while most do not want the guy, he's better than McCain...

wrong....the same folk that supported trump are those that headed the call from their religious fringe leadership to support Reagan....it's just under a different banner.

How trite and overused, yawn

While the Communist Party never actually disappeared from the United States, despite the efforts many years ago of some on Congress, they have in recent years become quite vocal about their goals and their support for the Democrat Party.
They stopped running their own candidates years ago and have pushed and supported Democrats for many years now.

TRUMP'S support is across ALL demographics, including, for a Republican, very high unprecedented support among Democrats, Blacks, Jews, Women, Youth, and Hispanics. He will rule this country with with an iron hand, backed by an across the board consensus opposing ALL Establishments in this nation. All Establishment Special Interests are bloated blood sucking parasites that need to be totally crushed under the national will and purpose, and Trump will lead us to do exactly that. NO entity will be allowed to function contrary to the National Interest, as determined by the whole people of the nation. Big companies and Churches, and every single entity will have to watch their back if they dare to try to screw this nation and its people. Jail will be full of them. Google FounderChurch Portal for the details of the intellectual rationale for the Trump Revolution.

So you say...

The social conservative voters back Cruz.. The moderates and establishment voters back Rubio. The working class, mostly male voter, back Trump..

The heated rhetoric and large candidate field have made the Republican primary race look loud and messy. But here’s a simple way to view the landscape: The GOP electorate is divided into three, broad groups, each roughly equal in size.

There is the socially conservative wing, which has elevated Sen. Ted Cruz and Ben Carson. The GOP’s establishment-friendly, more-centrist wing backs Sen. Marco Rubio and a few others. And then there are the Donald Trump voters, a largely working-class and male group drawn together by Mr. Trump’s unique persona and, in large measure, his promise to end illegal immigration.

With about one-third of voters in each camp, according to indications seen in December Wall Street Journal/NBC News polling, the stage is set for some drama: Which candidate has the crossover appeal needed to win majority support? Once Iowa and New Hampshire start to winnow the field, which surviving candidate has the most room to grow?

Signifying what? Does your dumb ass realize how many rabidly racist, fringe right wing groups have staunchly supported the GOP LONGER than these jokers have the Dems? Probably not, as honest and thorough research of the topics you discuss is beyond your proud willful ignorance.
