But hey they just want their abominable marriage recognized!

we solved It already

they cant discriminate because this country says Its unAmerican

ideas can still be debated and even changed over time. I dont like the idea of someone refusing to serve someone else because of their skin color or religion or whatever else but in my personal opinion freedom isn't about forcing someone else to make you happy or satisfied. I still wonder why someone would even want to give their business to someone that would discriminate against you though. I wouldnt want to give money to a business owner that is being forced to serve me. I'd rather give my money to someone that wants to.

you will not get the right to discriminate ever again

this is America

If I am singled out because of my religious beliefs and forced do to something that I believe violates those beliefs is that not also a form of discrimination?

Again I would need proof that serving a homosexual violates the beliefs of your religion. Perhaps some sort of verse in whatever holy book you subscribe to. Until then it just seems like personal prejudice.

I honestly wonder if such a business could be classified as a "ministry" to avoid both discrimination laws and certain taxes. I have no knowledge of the laws regarding what qualifies as a ministry though.

The Tulsa race riot was a large-scale, racially motivated conflict on May 31 and June 1, 1921, in which a group of whites attacked the black community of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It resulted in the Greenwood District, also known as 'the Black Wall Street'[1] and the wealthiest black community in the United States, being burned to the ground.

During the 16 hours of the assault, more than 800 people were admitted to local white hospitals with injuries (the two black hospitals were burned down), and police arrested and detained more than 6,000 black Greenwood residents at three local facilities.[2]:108–109 An estimated 10,000 blacks were left homeless, and 35 city blocks composed of 1,256 residences were destroyed by fire, resulting in over $26 million in damages. The official count of the dead by the Oklahoma Department of Vital Statistics was 39, but other estimates of black fatalities vary from 55 to about 300.[2]:108, 228 [3]

The events of the riot were long omitted from local and state histories. "The Tulsa race riot of 1921 was rarely mentioned in history books, classrooms or even in private. Blacks and whites alike grew into middle age unaware of what had taken place."[4] With the number of survivors declining, in 1996, the state legislature commissioned a report to establish the historical record of the events, and acknowledge the victims and damages to the black community. Released in 2001, the report included the commission's recommendations for some compensatory actions, most of which were not implemented by the state and city governments. The state passed legislation to establish some scholarships for descendants of survivors, economic development of Greenwood, and a memorial park to the victims in Tulsa. The latter was dedicated in 2010.

Maybe bakers will start secretly urinating in forced cake baking orders... But yeah let's give them money and business while they urinate in the cakes.

If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed. Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

so that means its OK to be a lesbian?

so that means its OK to be a lesbian?

Back up a few verses in Romans 1.

Romans 1:26-27 - For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

I'm not joining this conversation beyond this because I know most on the other side of this conversation do not believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God so it would be a conversation to no avail. I just couldn't resist answering this one question as I see it brought up from time to time.
