This is so true cawacko. I have been saying for 20 years that we need segregation in schools to be successful. I've probably even said it on this site a few times. We still need it. I believe that it would be the single best improvement to our schools causing the highest degree of success for our students...all of them.

Really? Interesting. I don't recall you saying that before. Obviously being a long time teacher you've seen a lot. Curious what makes you think segregated classes would be better? (Not asking that in an accusatory tone just interested in your opinion)

Lol...that was kind of a baited post. If you researched it on this site I have been talking about segregation not according to race but according to ability. Putting a stop to social promotion that takes place so often in our public schools. Arranging classes, not by age where teachers have to teach to the lowest common denominator but by proven ability where teachers can challenge the whole class.
