She Asked A Simple Question Of McDonalds President And Got Sent To Jail

apparently the concept of private property alludes you. I bet you would mind a little if I walked into your house and started lecturing you.

Total red herring, it was a hotel in Chicago not someone's house. Apparently McDonald's have so little regard for their PR they would rather have someone arrested than listen to her concerns. It will likely affect them in sales now from the bad publicity.

You know what i said is true. Managers must invent flaws to avoid giving too many people raises. You know this is the reality . now you're just being dishonest.

Just because "you believe" that was your experience and you didnt make the cut doesnt make it the reality for most people.

No one is forcing people to work at McDonalds.

What are her excuses for still making min wage or base pay or whatever that low value constitutes after 10 yrs?

It's completely irresponsible considering she has a family to feed.

Maybe she worked part-time for a few years.

Maybe she had no childcare.

Maybe she had another job in addition to Mickey D's.

Maybe they only gave her 15 hours a week.

I could go on and on, but what I don't understand is why people immediately start denigrating the woman without knowing the whole story.

Can you back that up?

It's too bad I have to connect the dots here but someone needs to be making the big business decisions that keep the company competitive and profitable so that there ARE JOBS for other people.

And do board members not deserve that same 'loyalty' after yrs of commitment to the corp?

You mean commitment to being on the board? Because I worked at a corp. that got two well-known figures to sit on the board and they were pretty much window dressing. And when I say well-known, I mean on a national and international basis.

That's where I get pissed, most board members at big companies make $250,000 for 4 meetings and a couple hours of homework. Obviously it's mainly good ole boys club too!

In the time it took you to post that, you could have Googled her and educated yourself, couldn't you?

I would fire her for much less.
She went out of her way, to insult
Her bosses, bosses, bosses boss
If she even quietly sorta mentioned it to a homeless guy buying coffee.
I'd still fire that slacker

she should not have been arrested either.

Nor was she, apparently.

Salgado continued for about five minutes before she and other demonstrators were escorted out. According to a press release, the group was detained for an hour and threatened with arrest but ultimately released after receiving citations.

I'd fire any relative or close friend of hers too
