why didn't prices go back to where they were when the restrictions were put back in place
they pretty much have.....and stayed there for three years because Obama did nothing.....
why didn't prices go back to where they were when the restrictions were put back in place
Prices have increased a bit in the near term, but aren't too high as a general matter:![]()
When you commute 100 miles each day gas costs add up. It's not cheap. This is where I need Topspin to come in and make fun of me for being poors.
100 miles? Daaaaaaaayyyummmmm:
BTW, cawacko, I can predict with about 98.863% accuracy which posts of mine you with "Thank."
BTW, cawacko, I can predict with about 98.863% accuracy which posts of mine you with "Thank." And your commute sucks hard.
Is it just Cawacko you can do that with?
Just look at Exxon's profit margin and you will have your answer, they will charge as much as they can get away with charging. This is not about supply and demand.
100 miles is pretty much the average commute for many of my working neighbors. It's the price they're willing to pay though.
Well, when it comes to pretty much any pop culture reference cawacko and I seem to have similar tastes (or exposure) and it makes it pretty easy to be honest.
Legion Troll thanked a post of mine once. I didn't see that coming.
Yeah he thanked one of mine the other day, in the middle of about 50 groans.
I can predict with 100% accuracy that you will thank any post I make about Massafuckingpequa.
To proclaim Bush levels as the peak that occurred during a two month spike is quite dishonest.
Ok, but, like, why didn't prices go back to where they were when the restrictions were put back in place and, like, why did prices begin to increase before Obama was innaugurated?
Also, too, if you look at the long-term price trend below and conclude that prices below where one would expect them to be if you extrapolate the pre-crash curve are "sustained high prices" then you're an idiot.

Just about as dishonest as those who talk about how much more gas is than it was the day Bush left office, while technically true that was a function of the crashing economy.
Looks a lot like the same type of chart for the DOW, don't it?
