Not one of you anti-choicers acknowledged that it takes two to make a baby, nor will you ever admit to how many men approve the woman's abortion because in Grind's words, "it would be a travesty and an utter disaster" if the man had to financially support the baby for two decades.

Yeah, it only takes two people to create the baby if you decided to keep it, and not kill it, then all of the sudden the man is absolutely essential to you supporting it, but if you decide to kill it, then the man has no say...Spare me.

I do not believe that for every couple who have an unwanted pregnancy, there is a man on his knees begging the woman not to abort.

Visit a hospital the specializes in the care of genetically ill children. Unless you see the suffering first hand you'll never understand.

As for the way abortions are done the fetus should be anesthetized. That would solve the pain problem.

You do have a point, Yurt. One can say to a woman, "I want to have sex with you" or "I want to make love to you." While both involve sex saying the latter will more likely result in sex occurring. ;)

You forget the shortage of children is the result of over one million abortions per year. Add one million children to the adoption files, year after year, then try to visualize the numbers. If unable to do so read a little history about orphanages and how the children were treated. And let's not forget the general Repub position regarding helping anyone. Do you really believe a Repub government would properly finance orphanages when there would be no one directly involved to champion their cause? Or do you see 6 and 8 year olds petitioning Congress for funding?

Try to be honest here. What financial support do single, pregnant women get? Or single mothers? Or the children of parents on welfare? And you expect us to believe the government would supply decent care for the millions of adoptees? You'll never convince anyone of that, PmP.

Because prospective adopters don't want children from alcoholics and drug addicts because the child has a good chance of suffering from related illnesses.
