Here, in the Pacific Northwest, we are experiencing the worst air quality in the world due to wildfires. We are all encouraged to stay inside as much as possible, with windows closed. Without the virus, we need masks. Yet, I still see people jogging without them.

The coronavirus numbers are low enough in my county that restaurants and other businesses are reopening. Hopefully, things will continue to improve. I don't know of a single public school that has reopened.

Maybe that's why China was more effective in fighting the virus.

Because of their terrible air quality they were already used to mask-wearing.

I guess we’ll find out if Democrats can get away with defunding cops in the face of the highest homicide rate in 50 years.

COVID isn’t the front burner issue you think it is.

Of course it isn't, for those who are on the hook of Trump's propaganda.

But for the rest of the world, the real world, COVID-19 totally is the number one issue.

Deny it if you like, it doesn't matter. Most people are treating this election as a referendum on Trump. He is no outsider any more. He must be held accountable for his performance in office.

It's about as bad a record as anyone could have.

Without his propaganda machine? If people were to really decide this on the basis of the issues? Trump is totally dead meat.

The only thing keeping him going is emotion.

The cult has totally been target marketed.

They know who you email. They read your emails, gather information on you and your contacts. They read your texts. Your life is being scrutinized. You have no secrets. They know how you'll vote. They are feeding you information to keep you on the hook. They have done studies. They have evaluated groups of people. They know what works on you. You have been marginalized. You have been placed in a group that likes this and that and the other. You have been catalogued and filed. You have been reduced to data. Your life doesn't matter to them. Trump doesn't care about you. It's a numbers game and you are just a number. We all are. This is the 21st century. You have no choice. If you want to opt out you have to disconnect. No phone, no internet. No cards. Cash only. Big tech is a big troll and we are all the enablers.

If the government was doing this you'd be freaking out. But since it's Google, FaceBook, Yahoo, Verizon, etc, - Wall Street - you think it's OK. The only problem is they are doing the government's work for them. Any time the government wants the information it is all compiled for them, waiting, any time they want it. And political campaigns for government offices access it too.
