Well, let's see. North Korea does not have a bunch of propaganda-fueled anti-maskers. There is near 100% compliance. North Korea got hit hard like the US, but when they fought back, they kicked corona in the butt.

And the dumb arguments about reasons why people should not have to wear a mask! Are you kidding me? We believe this is the best way to fight the killer virus! Why are people even doubting this? What's the big deal? We might wear masks for nothing??? OMG, end of the world!

This is a small thing. Sure it's an inconvenience. What I wanna know is:

How can somebody think their own convenience is more important than American lives?

And THEY think they are patriotic Americans because THEY wave American flags...

We sent kids back to school too early and unprepared, fools ignored precautions, had to gather and party for Labor Day, and there have been several super spreader events such as Sturgis, the RNC and Trump rallies.

The results are coming in.

Most of LSU's football team had it. They get tested constantly. Sure would be interesting to see what percentage of the population has the antibodies. I suspect far greater than 7 million which would mean the percentage of non serious cases is much higher.

You notice the deafening silence on all these college athletes/students in general testing positive and then—crickets lol?

Seasonal flu presents a greater risk to this population. They were dying of H1N1 in ‘not insignificant numbers’ under Obama.

Funny how that works.

There’s only 3.5 months left in the year and we’re going to double the 200,000* in spite better treatment, less nursing home deaths and less iatrogenic deaths lol?

That’s some serious Panic Porn.
 
Cold weather makes it less possible to maintain safe distancing.

People are stuck inside together.

An airborne virus is a serious threat for humans who spend extended periods of time in confined spaces without regular turn-over of the air.

Aerosol transmission extends beyond the recommended 6' spacing that many people do not even observe.

People do proper social distancing about as well as they maintain proper stopping distance while driving. IOW, they are pretty bad about it.

Aerosol particles can float in the air for extended periods of time.

Just like cigarette smoke.

If you are close enough to a smoker to smell their cigarette, you are close enough to catch COVID-19 in the aerosol form.

We could be experiencing the coronavirus calm before the COVID storm.

Yes. It's a geometric progression. Something like Six Degrees of Separation or high school dropouts spreading chlamydia while sweeping the floors as a "healthcare worker", burger flipper, etc.
