And so it begins: open Civil War has broken out in the GOP

Critical thinking. Why can't you tell the difference between the point I made about the Moon landing and your beliefs to the contrary?

Let's be clear: IMO, the essence that makes you the individual that you are is not greater or lesser than anyone else. My belief is that the more good you do for others the greater you soul becomes. In the end though, aren't we all just one great soul?

Hello goat,

JPP is not representative of the USA. JPP is mostly the angry people who can put up with and/or dish out online abuse. The most extreme, least constrained voices. Most people would have nothing to do with JPP.

Anybody who wants to, can go to war with our government or whatever victims they choose. And they get their 15 minutes of fame and pay for their stupidity for the rest of their lives, if they live through the experience. The vast majority of America wants a peaceful secure life and the chance to enjoy life and be happy. They don't want to hurt anyone. It's only the people who are zoned out with sensationalist news who think the world is falling apart. Most people are blissfully unaware, and they don't care. They just want to live their lives and carve out a little slice of nice happy America for themselves. Let the extremists get on the 6 o'clock news, most peaceful Americans have a life to live. The political world is lucky if they bother to vote or care at all about what's going on. They'd rather just take it all for granted. A lotta people are so busy it's all they can do to work and take care of their life. They don't have time to get well informed, and they are not motivated to. The news, politics, and religion are seen as depressing things to talk about so they just don't.

Until your brains are blown out, it's not a proper Civil War, yet...

Are you in a hurry for us to get to that?

Do you think you're going to shoot us?

What's up?

We talk about news, politics, and religion all day every day. JPP is a microcosm of the world. The anger and desperation is real, and most of us were born middle class, but only half of our grandkids will remain part of the middle class. My sister has 3 millennial children still living at home on the cul-de-sac. They lack the opportunities to make it on their own. A lot of middle class families are dealing with similar problems and deny their complicity in how we got here.

I can't believe you hung in there with me this long.

Will America bounce back from this "pandemic" by 2022? That is the question that really matters.
There are job openings in just about every sector right now, yet employers are having difficulty
filling them. Let's see what happens once the "freebies" run out. Will Dems go back to work? Will
they be too lazy to vote in midterms? They rallied and rioted against Trump and won. Who will they
rally and riot against in the upcoming midterms? Hopefully, it's Biden & Co's policies we vote against.

Freebies? Is that what you think? Is that what you call thinking? They cannot afford to take jobs until school returns. They cannot afford childcare. Working costs money. Those 8 buck jobs world be working for free.

Now you are just being stupid. What is causing the banks in each state to use the FRN? What State is using gold and silver as it's only legal tender?

That has nothing to do with the Fed being unconstitutional. The founders had no problem with creating a national bank (except Jefferson).

No state has made anything but gold and silver legal tender and therefore states did not violate that provision in the Constitution. Banks chartered by the state do not have to belong to the Fed.

Nothing says states must use only gold and silver as legal tender. It says states cannot make anything else legal tinder.

'Rationals' vs. 'radicals': Anti-Trump Republicans threaten third party

Source: Reuters

Over 100 former Republican officials will sign a letter on Thursday declaring that if the Republican Party does not break with former President Donald Trump and change course, they will back the creation of a third party.

The letter, headlined: "A Call For American Renewal," is an exploratory move toward forming a breakaway party, two of its organizers said. The group is dismayed by what it says is a modern Republican Party driven by its allegiance to Trump, who continues to falsely claim the 2020 election was stolen from him.

"The Republican Party is broken. It's time for a resistance of the 'rationals' against the 'radicals,'" said Miles Taylor, one of the organizers. Taylor, while serving in the Trump White House, wrote an anonymous opinion piece in the New York Times in 2018 headlined: "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration."

The group first raised the threat in February, following the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters to try to disrupt congressional certification of Democrat Joe Biden's presidential election victory.

WOWZA!!

Well good after waging war against Democracy and U.S. Constitutional law and humanity at swallowing up tRump's toxic koolaid, the un American GOP deserves to spontaneously combust.

Lazy fuck....

You won't be honest with yourself. You won't even look into the technology required to land on the moon. A mission like that depends on redundancy, yet the lunar lander was given one chance to reconnect with the Apollo command module. That means NASA was willing to roll the dice with astronauts being left to die on the moon. None of it makes sense in the real world. Government sold you a fantasy.

No doubt you have it all figured out. If so, then please tell me why the Soviets, Red China, Britain, Germany, France and Japan all continue to support the conspiracy.

Wall Street. The federal reserve will most likely have to be dissolved. Economists and historians are predicting worse than 1929 with food riots and all. We could see a systemic collapse -- political, economic, and social.

That's why squabbling right vs left is counterproductive.

How about you let us know who these economists predicting conditions worse than 1929?

I will say you are correct that squabbling right and left is counterproductive. We don't have a govt and congress doing what's best for the country, we have 2 parties doing what's best for themselves.

I guess that remains to be seen. Most people aren't fans of Wall Street, even though we have some investment with our retirement plans.
As for the food riots (if they would occur), they will mostly happen in the crowded cities. Let them become savages, we rural folk don't care.

Of course the squabbling is counterproductive, but forced submission to redefining our constitution is also counterproductive. Don't you think?

no one is redefining the constitution and the right doesn't even know what it says.

The Republican establishment consciously chose the destruction of the Republican party when it decided to sell its soul to Trump. They could have and should have done the right thing. They should have accepted Trump and his grotesque supporters for what they are and run in the other direction. Now these "rationals", including Cheney and Kinzinger, will assure that the Republican party finally and thankfully is wiped from the planet.

Correct. Now we have repubs playing the Jan 6 attack as "just like another daily tour group". Republicans with any sense whatsoever must be looking at this, and recounts in AR, replacing Cheney with Stefanik and saying "ok, enough, I can't be associated with these assholes".

What a load of shit. People aren't that stupid and it's obvious who the bigoted racists are.

While the Party of Trump is most certainly racist, the Democratic agenda does have a strain of racism itself. Specifically, any party that pushes differentiating people by skin-tone is, indeed, racist.

I agree with that. I heard Adam Kinzinger say this morning (I'm paraphrasing) that our system was designed for two parties and works best with two parties. I completely disagree with him. We should have lots of small parties. They should be focused and diverse. They should have to form coalitions. The two-party system has completely failed and is damn near to destroying the entire American democratic republic. On top of that, many people (and especially many Americans) are too stupid to see things in non-binary terms when they think they have only two choices.

I'm not so sure about that. With lots of small parties we would never get anything done. Two parties is ok but we need ALL votes in congress anonymous. Many congressmen know what is right and what is wrong but they vote for what their party tells them too. it just isn't possible to have 100 people in a senate and every republican votes one way and every democrat votes the other on every fucking issue unless they care more for their party than the country. The current system is definitely broken, it used to be a slight difference of opinion between parties, now it's a devout hatred between them. Issues arise where half the republican's agree on the issue but vote against because they are afraid the other party might get credit and that is unacceptable. And vica versa

I admire your effort, but consider your audience. You may as well try to teach a tree how to run as explain history to Son of the Revolution.

It's like when the repubs say that before equal rights it was the democrats that were the racists. I respond to that by saying before equal rights I would have been a republican but now there is no question who are the bigoted racists and it isn't the democrats.

Only one of those parties has election cheating downpat....something tells me that will be the one that "wins". :dunno:

I must say the right must be really fucking stupid if the democrats could pull off such cheating and you dumbshits can't seem to come up with a stitch of evidence to corroborate it. Over 60 cases thrown out of court with no evidence and countless republicans saying there was no cheating. Arizona and Georgia both elections were run by republicans who say Trump lost. If democrats are smart enough to have pulled that off and republicans so fucking stupid that they could not find any evidence then maybe we are best with democrats running the show.
