I’m happy to see it happen. Makes for three parties. Cities are/will be one party rule with rampant murder, homelessness, zero tax base and no police force. Basically anarchy.
Then there will be two republican parties for civilized areas to duke it out hopefully annihilating each other leaving room for new saner parties. Life is good!
The GOP's biggest problem is that Trump is a drag in all the competitive districts that they need to win. They withheld that internal polling data from the party at large because of Trump.
I'm not sure how 2022 will play out; I think Democrats will make gains in some states, and lose ground in others. Where it nets out, I'm not sure, but I do not think the GOP is going to win back control of the Senate because it has to defend way more seats than Democrats do, in territory Trump lost in 2020. State-level elections are much more perilous for the GOP now, as we saw in VA and GA the last decade.

I'd be surprised if the Republicans don't win the House next year. But what will be the point? They don't have a platform or any policies. The politicians only care about being reelected for self enrichment. The voters only care about maintaining a white, straight, Christian majority. They're all losers and whatever timeframe it takes, the story's ending is already written, I think.

I’m in Louisiana at the moment and in Livingston Parish, e.g., no one ever wore masks ever. Business as usual. Same in Alaska. Anchorage- lockdown. MatSu Valley- business as usual all of 2020.
Same with illegal immigrants. In rural areas they’ll be hard working slave laborers with families. In cities they’ll control drug cartels. Life is good . (As long as I don’t live in a city.)
