You're the one who wants the entire country to be a shooting gallery and who is in the 10% of people who oppose gun control.

Seems like you've been off the reservation for a long, long time.

and yet, i've been proven RIGHT all along...............so it looks like the majority of you are WRONG. that means you're off the reservation for continuing your idiocy in the face of facts and reality

I love it when you go off the rails and spew moronic bullshit

Just like Dutch, you don't believe that your actions have consequences.

But they do.

The consequence of letting any dipshit get a gun is that we will need armed soldiers to protect us from all the dipshits you let have a gun.

or you could grow a spine and gather some individual responsibility and get your own fucking gun to protect yourself or those around you.

Again, letting every person have a gun creates the need for armed security.

It just seems like you think the country should be a shooting gallery, and that's not freedom.

Living under the threat of a bullet is not freedom.

TBH, I doubt she has the savviness to safely handle firearms.

I like LV even though I think she's young, inexperienced and more than a little whacky. Her heart is in the right place but her means are more fucked up than a football bat.

Agreed. Now you know how I feel about you disarming me so that only outlaws and criminals have guns.

Why wouldn't the outlaws and criminals also be disarmed?

Almost every single gun that ends up in the hands of "outlaws and criminals" were guns first bought legally by a "responsible gun owner" just like you.

So after you bought the gun, you lost it, had it stolen, gave it to someone, or you sold it someone sketchy via straw purchase...those are the only means by which criminals can get guns.

You are responsible for the supply of guns used by "outlaws and criminals" because you're the ones they're getting their guns from.

So you buy a gun to protect your home, business, and car from "outlaws and criminals" armed with guns they stole from homes, businesses, and cars.

If you can't see how fucking stupid and cyclical that is, then I have no hope for you at all because you've been conned into a bloody, cynical, capitalist scheme.

red flag laws are totalitarian and gun grabbing too.

I agree, which is why no one should be allowed to own a gun at all because no one other than the purchaser knows why they are buying the gun and what they intend to do with it.

So since we can't know that, and the worst case scenario is a mass shooting, then we have to mitigate the risk somehow, and the only real way to do that is to remove guns from the equation entirely.

The alternative are mandatory mental health screenings prior to any gun purchase, and continued mental health evaluations after until the person either dies or gives the gun up.

THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN BE SECURE KNOWING THAT BAD PEOPLE WON'T GET GUNS.

And if you think bad people will just circumvent it, then the problem isn't bad people, the problem is what those bad people are after.
