Corona Virus Peak Watch Thread

I've already won......you've been putting all your hopes and dreams in the increased case count for more than four weeks already and the death rate is still going down.......quit while you still haven't hit the rock bottom of being behind.....I suggest you put your brain where your mouth is.....

Translation: I pass. I don't bet money knowing I'm going to lose.

No worries, son. I think most people guessed you'd pass. That's just the way you are.

interesting......Trump gives what was arguably the best political speech in the last 12 years and all you can come up with is he mispronounced someone's name?.......pretty sad how low the demmycunts have fallen......
It was Trump's best speech, despite the dog whistle's and mispronunciations, but it's not the best political speech in 12 years.

What Christian church do you affiliate? I'm curious.

There was a slight peak in Active Cases on May 30th. The number began to fall a little bit after that, but then we opened up without waiting for the number to fall very much.

The fall in New Cases vanished and the numbers have been rising drastically ever since.

We are still looking for the first significant peak.

Here is a graph of Active Cases in the USA:

The number of daily New Cases tells the story.

The beginning of this graph shows when we finally began to get testing in place, and the numbers ramped up rapidly at first.

Then the New Cases reached a peak and began to drop down as the nation put economic shut down measures into place. The graph clearly shows how we smoothed the curve of new cases. The middle of the curve shows the number of New Cases began to fall, even as we were still increasing testing.

Then, after May 30th, we ceased the shut down measures. The results could hardly be clearer. That is near the right side of the graph where the numbers shoot up drastically.

Indeed.

The mortality rate is decreasing, America hater.

"Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 9.0% during week 25 to 5.9% during week 26, representing the tenth week of a declining percentage of deaths due to PIC..."

I'd offer you the same bet as the Satanic "Demmycunt" hater, but I know you are on disability sooooooo.....no bet offer.

That will probably change in two to four weeks. Worse if the hospitals max out on beds/ventilators. Treatment in the US is obviously better than in Third World shitholes, but not as good as in other First World Nations due to medical access. When even the middle-class can't get a bed, the bodies will start piling up again.

Yeah. Guess we are a leeeeeetle larger nation than others. What's the per capita for this rolling 7 day average in the world?
OH! And, yeah......."presumed" cases are coded as "confirmed" as well.

$20 bet? Loser donates $20 in the winner's name to JPP? You say the death wait will stay the same or go down and I say it will go up. Bet? Time to put your money where your mouth is PmP.

Don't waste money when there's no solid evidence for the ground rules.
"presumed" cases are coded as "confirmed."

No worries, son. I think most people guessed you'd pass. That's just the way you are.

.

your opinion is duly noted.....and ranked somewhere between a day old sno-cone in Arizona and anything said by Biden in public over the last 90 days.......

LOL. Too many Mimosas?

Yes, the US is larger than many other nations. This is why "rates" are important, not total numbers.

I have no idea what you are asking with "What's the per capita for this rolling 7 day average in the world?" or what your last sentence means.

Dude, your "translation" is projection. Where have I ignored or failed to admit what's happened since Cinco de Mayo?

What? They didn't teach that at the Honey Boo Boo Academy?
