Congratulations America.

We had a pretty good day yesterday.

Only 254 deaths.

We did hit an ominous benchmark in that now, for every million Americans alive at the beginning of the coronavirus, 400 of them are now dead.

And we are rapidly closing in on 3 million total cases.

And there are 16K people in serious or critical condition.

And hospital capacity is being sorely tested in several regions of the nation.

But only 254 people died yesterday from COVID-19, and at this point that is a good thing.

-Which tells you how bad this pandemic is, when we consider it good that 254 people died in one day.

Here is an interesting trend. I have been watching the number of Critical and Serious Cases because that has been a precursor of the number of deaths.

Recently, (and nicely) we have seen the number of Serious / Critical Cases dropping ahead of the number of deaths. But sadly, that drop has appeared to cease, and the number has begun to climb again. Let's hope this is false, and that we are actually getting a little better at treating serious and critical patients with drugs such as Remdesivir.

I don't know how reliable that metric is.

We keep hearing reports of hospital capacity be overwhelmed in Texas, but TX is not included on the CDC count.

Why isn't Texas in the CDC count?

Facts are facts and body counts are body counts. All people can do is choose their path then live with the consequences.

I don't fault all government for the failures. Some things have to come in their own time. Can you imagine how many Democrats would have shit bricks if Bush 43 had tried to set up TSA and DHS on September 1st, 2001? How many citizens would have been screaming Bush was a fascist and needed to be impeached? It's amazing what can happen to people's attitudes two weeks later.

The left insists upon going all the way back to Jan and Feb of 2020 to include the number of moralities from this fake bug (whose numbers were elevated on purpose by placing our senior citizens directly at risk in insisting that nursing homes take in the infected to spread around to the most vulnerable that resulted in almost 50% of all deaths coming from this kidnapped demography)......

Reality: Even though the number of infected is going up because the US is now testing almost 600,000 daily.......the rate of death continues to decline.

Its not the young and otherwise healthy that should be sequestered.......we must isolate and take care of those most at risk of major complications from any type of seasonal virus.....OUR ELDERLY, not force the already infected directly upon them. Anyone that has someone that is high risk.......all the CDC guidelines should be used......to include the proper use of MASKS.....to stop the already infected from infecting those most vulnerable. Anyone that ventures out into the public that are knowingly at high risk......do so at their own risk, there is a such a thing as SELF RESONSIBILITY in this nation of liberty and freedom.


The next step by the left? To cry wolf again........oh dear! oh dear! this virus has mutated we must lock down the nation again. Trump has the trump card....he will play it at the correct time, there are already cures existing, all they need is government approval through the proper testing......Trump has the authority, thanks to the left and their fake state of emergency, to fast track these cures. This will end this nonsense once for all.
The US population by majority is quickly developing a herd immunity to this virus.
