It’s the RW dumbfucks that are complaining about having to wear masks, Jethro. I’ve seen it all from “tyranny”, to “unconstitutional” to even “it violates God’s way of the way we breathe.”

There's a wide gap between Mandating masks and denying the disease is a threat. IMO, authoritarian measures are a desperate last resort because leadership failed in all respects.

If the Trump administration had followed the advice of WHO and the CDC last year, they could have taken a leadership role in persuading Americans to do their civic duty and assist their fellow citizens. Instead all We, the People got from Trump is denials, false accusations and outright lies. If they were responsible leaders, they'd man up and do the right thing.....but they aren't and won't.

I believe many, possibly most, anti-maskers are Trumptards. Taking their cues from their ignorant leader. Many probably anti-vaxxers, as well. Regardless, not very bright people.

The CDC sucks.

It was their brilliant idea to shut down electives as if every state was going to go the way of NYC. And I said they sucked when they did it. They are incompetent. Those nursing home guidelines Cuomo tries to slough on Trump?

Those were CDC guildlines. Where else would they come from. It should be gutted or disbanded altogether.

The immune system is a wickedly complex.

If they fully understood it they could shut the cytokine storm down and we could forget about a vaccine and COVID would be reduced to a respiratory virus that would take a small fraction of the lives it has taken.
