CDC has updated death statistics for the last few weeks of April. (Still not complete since it can take 8 weeks for all numbers to come in.)

The average deaths for 4 weeks in April for the previous 3 years was 221,198
This year the deaths in 4 weeks in April are currently at 272,677

That is a difference of 51,479 deaths.
CDC is only counting 49,570 of those as Covid deaths.
That hardly looks like an overcount.

US Population = 330 million
Deaths = 90,694

Percentage of deaths to the population = .027%

Number of Americans thrown out of work due to this hysteria = 40 million
Number of Working Americans = 128 million

Percentage of unemployed = 31.25%

So for a virus that, for the most part, is harmless and only attacks the infirmed and elderly that amounts to .027% of our population, we are willing to destroy the livelihood of 31.25% of Americans.
