I saw that interview. What the GOP is doing is treasonous. They are actively trying to get Americans killed.

Trump does not even bother to ask his deplorables to wear masks when they crowd in shoulder to shoulder at his rally.

We'll likely lose more people in the next week+ than we lost on 9/11.

And that was enough for most of them to get rabid about invading a country that had nothing to do w/ it. But wear a mask for a month or so to help out on this one? OPPRESSION!

We all told them that this would happen. We warned them. Repeatedly. We said reopening would be a mistake that would lead to even more cases. They didn't want to listen because they are cult members. The only way out of the cult is death.
 
According to world0meters the number of serious/critical cases is still flat....there is zero flooding of hospitals with covid....it has been flat or going down for nearly a month.

Dont expect to hear this news from the propagandizers the So-Called Journalists.

If this was a war, they would be on trial for war crimes. I don't know if "treason" is the right word. Immoral. Outrageous. Heinous. Uncaring. Evil. Definitely evil.
 
Months have passed and I still haven't heard from any lefty, here or anywhere just how they would plan to promote herd immunity so we can get this thing over with.

Should I try again. It's called a vaccine. We will have herd immunity when we have a vaccine. I guess your strategy would be to just let it go, overrun the hospital system, and after a million are dead, we might be approaching herd immunity. Or, we could take steps to protect ourselves and slow the virus and wait. I like option B better. But that's me.
 
The outrageous stupidity being demonstrated by Trumpists is caused by El Trumpo's dependence upon a propaganda economy which Covid 19 has severely damaged . This, of course, is common knowledge.

It's not an actual immunization if it has to be given every year. Even with the seasonal flu, some still get the flu, some don't.
Either way, most recover. A virus dies off on its own. Go build up your own immune system yourself and you'll get through it.

Who says it has to be given every year. Once again, your abject stupidity is astounding. The reason we give flu shots every year is because every year, the strain of flu that is prevalent changes. And yes, viruses mutate. But it MAKES NO DIFFERENCE HOW YOU GET THE ANTIBODIES. You get them from the disease, or you get them from the vaccine. Viruses do not die off on their own. H1N1 is still a common seasonal flu. You asked a question, I answered it. Get a clue.

Running low on substitute adjectives for ‘creep’ and ‘crawl’ so I went with the sarcastic angle in the OP title.

Related news: at least one doctor thinks the CHINA virus has already been in WV since there have been a cluster of people with flu like symptoms that tested negative for seasonal flu virus over the past 6-8 weeks. Could easily be true and if it is, the virulence of the virus is unremarkable with respect to the vast majority of people.

Also, if true, the actual number of Corona cases is a lot higher than the number of confirmed cases, nationally. This is probably what prompted the expert in OH to speculate that OH could have 100k cases of the virus.

But if all of this is true, look at the number in the OP title—and think.

Over 135,000 Americans have died in the 15 weeks since the thread author was chuckling about only 61 deaths
