Death by Corona numbers explode to 61!

Running low on substitute adjectives for ‘creep’ and ‘crawl’ so I went with the sarcastic angle in the OP title.

Related news: at least one doctor thinks the CHINA virus has already been in WV since there have been a cluster of people with flu like symptoms that tested negative for seasonal flu virus over the past 6-8 weeks. Could easily be true and if it is, the virulence of the virus is unremarkable with respect to the vast majority of people.

Also, if true, the actual number of Corona cases is a lot higher than the number of confirmed cases, nationally. This is probably what prompted the expert in OH to speculate that OH could have 100k cases of the virus.

But if all of this is true, look at the number in the OP title—and think.

Over 146,000 Americans have died in the four months since the thread author was chuckling about only 61 deaths

That's because (for the umpteenth time) the ECDC correctly identifies and reports the true breakdown of stats and have been
all along. They have consistency. The U.S. CDC broke from that in mid-April and began rolling suspected, probable and
confirmed (by lab results)
cases all into one big inflated total...calling EVERYTHING a CONFIRMED case.

Yet our death rate has indeed flattened...which TELLS us that obviously ALL those INFLATED case numbers are not ACTUALLY CONFIRMED.

https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/daily-covid-cases-deaths?time=2020-01-25..&country=~USA

That doesn't explain why the U.S. has four percent of the world population but we account for 25 percent of the COVID related deaths.

So why had Trump handled this pandemic far worse than most other developed nations?

Over and over I've repeated myself. The CDC broke with the coding and reporting of stats method of the ECDC who reported correctly.
I've posted the info in here for months directly from the CDC website how it changed back in April and how it inflates our numbers.

So it's not more than 61 ?

That still doesn't explain why the U.S. has four percent of the world population but we account for 25 percent of the COVID related deaths.

Unless you want to make the preposterous claim that the U.S. alone in the world is screwing up our reporting, and somehow conveniently making us look worse than the rest of the developed world.

Why argue with the lying Bitch? Deaths today were almost 1100, the highest since May 29 and have been steadily rising since June. Nothing flat about that, she is simply full of shit.

So, are they still around 61 or something?

I swear; a building could be burning down, and you guys could hold off calling the fire department while you debate which floor it started on....

Let me see if I can unravel that lol.

Let’s start with ‘killing more’. The death toll from seasonal flu is up around 20,000 or so. Given the state of hysteria over COVID-19, I shudder to think what’s going to happen if it gets to 2,000.

The rest of it makes no sense.
The evidence of your stupidity having become so undeniable, I am surprised you have the balls to still post here.

No debate. The CDC did what did. The stats here are vague, undelineated and inflated.

So it's a case of a massive conspiracy among the entire worldwide medical community, and not simply just a case of you being a dumbfuck?

Why would these organizations do that? I don't know, because rightys say so? They see conspiracies in their breakfast cereals. The hospitals in Dade county are at 130 percent normal capacity. Not if you refuse to believe it. They actually believe doctors and nurses are lying. The CDC is lying. Why?

The problem with your argument is that the CDC isn't performing the tests or reporting the results of tests. Each state is doing that. They are reporting positive test results. There is nothing vague about it.

The issue you are talking about is some states, only a few states, included serology test results with positive tests. That was not the doing of the CDC. The problem with including serology tests with positive tests is you can double count people that were tested when sick and then tested for antibodies after they got better. This is not some conspiracy that caused there to be a doubling or tripling of the number of reported cases as you are implying. At most it would be a 2-5% error in totals. That is a rounding error.

According to current CDC methods which are inflated.
So, are they suspected, probable or confirmed by labs?

It seems the only way you can remain ignorant is by refusing to look at the facts. Bury your head as much as you want.
Each link leads you to the answer you refuse to admit is real when the states specifically list the confirmed test results.
If you really wanted to dig into the facts, you would find some states actually list every lab that has performed tests.

Per the CDC in the U.S.:
Probables are included in the "confirmed" stats.
