Explain it to us. There are members of this forum who knew little about Ukraine before Russia attacked it (I'm one of them) and see it being blown to bits by a superpower on the justification it is a nest of "Neo-Nazis". Explain the Nazism. Granted there was a coup of an elected President but coups in and of themselves are not any more Nazi like than they are Communist like, and the country is and has been for years since a relatively open and cultured society. So explain, if you can.

So why would the mafia be only poisoning Putin's opponents? Either they are in league with Putin, Putin is ordering it, or the Putin is letting the mafia exist without threatening them.

as to the coup that was US led (Kagan, Nuland, John McCain on the ground) - overthrowing the "pro Russian" Yanukovych (pro-Russia is simplistic but enough for this) basically caused the war in Donbas
That's also what Putin refers to - if not 100% accurate-

I'm getting tired of repeating myself to newcomers. However-

What I WANTED was for Ukraine to capitulate straight off so as to avoid what has now taken place. Death and destruction were not the answers to Russia's request to NATO for security guarantees.
NATO ignored Russia. NATO owns the war. The US wouldn't stand for Russian nukes on Cuba- Russia will not stand for NATO nukes on its borders. How dumb do you have to be not to realize that ?

Not a bad try- but the leader of the opposition is not a ' dissident ' and neither are opposition politicians.
