The idiots choose the AR-15 because it's easy to "accessorize". Gun manufacturer and third-party manufacturers make more money off AR-15 accessories than on the ARs themselves. A much more effective urban weapon is the AK-47*. The AK is better for two primary reasons: reliable operation even by ill-trained people and the 7.62x39mm round is an all-around superior round. Cheaper too in bulk.

As a veteran, I know the military doesn't make their own weapons. We depended upon Congress to supply the necessary equipment to defend the nation. How they do that is up to the taxpaying voters through their elected representatives, not those serving our nation.

The problem is Congress via the representatives Americans send there. You, like the other WSE supporters, whine about the problems then keep voting for the same assholes keeping those problems in place. Why? Don't you realize that's insane?

Anyway, locals anywhere has always complained about the gentrification of the areas in their cities. It's nothing new. Clearly most people in Mexico don't mind them. It's good for business.
