Young Americans for Liberty - Berlin Wall Event

Goldwater republicans may own the R party soon but be such a small party they wont have any luck at getting elected ,much like the new TeaBag party.

yeah... the Reps sure didn't have much luck in New Jersey and Virginia last week... I mean those blue states just kicked the crap out of the Rep's candidates for Governor.... right Desh?

Not much luck for those two Reps... now they have to suffer with the governorships. poor bastards.

NJ and Virginia make perfect sense.

They do not portend a Republican majority by any stretch.

Virginia ALWAYS votes the oposite of the pres. and the NJ candidate was a real loser.

go ahead and pretend what you wish , it will help my party.

we have a democracy and a well informed people are what is good for this country.

lies are not good for this country

I did not state it meant they would get a Republican majority Desh. YOU stated that Reps would have a hard time getting elected.

As you point out... the Dems are very capable of losing. Thanks.

Aw, c'mon. Since I often separate out the sentences for rhetorical effect, my paragraphs are almost overly short most of the time.

...There's just more of them than those of you with 10 billion posts!

Besides that, Dixie's threads are practically legendary here , so it's not a bad act to follow!

And Cap'n, you don't need to be a college student to join YAL. You can be a dues paying member if you're under 39, and YAL will send you some goodies like their awesome pocket Constitution and other stuff.

Well where do I sign?

Deeds ran as just another Republican despite the party label, so why would the folks in Va. vote for him and not the real thing while Dems stayed home without a real choice? Corzine had NJ unemployment and Goldman-Sachs hanging around his neck. The GOP candidate who lost in NY 23 had the endorsement of every Conservative from Limbaugh to Palin and lost in a Conservative district.

Please. The R candidate was still on the ballot, although no longer running. Early and mail in votes accounted for much of that disconnect, but she received 5% of the vote, which would have been more than enough to pull the Conservative Party's dude through. It is very unlikely that 5% would have ever voted for the D.

Rumors are there is going to be a recount in NY. I have to get the details.
