Agreed about drug abuse among the young, Could an OD damage his brain so much? The fact he spends so much time online indicates he doesn't work and that means he's either independently rich or he's living with his parents...which is the most likely option.

If she could sober up long enough, she might be able to help. LOL

It's a weird holiday in any case.

Slavery was completely abolished by the 13th Amendment on 6 December 1865. Until then, part of the US under federal control where slavery existed still allowed slavery to exist. The blue areas on the map were not covered by the emancipation proclamation or previous congressional action.

Texas and Galveston--where the first Juneteenth celebration took place--had slavery abolished on 19 June 1865. The first Juneteenth celebration occurred on June 19th, 1866, a year after slavery had been abolished in Galveston. So, it celebrated a local event rather than a national one and is now being elevated to a national event that has no relationship to the original.

Juneteenth holiday in the United States. ... 1863, declared that all slaves in the rebel Confederate States were free.

Hence why they are burning the rebel flag dumbfuck.
