You Bunch of Lazy Slackers

I have no problem with people taking vacations or time off. I just agree there are too many holidays in this country.

Why? It's not like employers are mandated to give those days off with pay. They're not. Personally, I don't give a shit if the mail doesn't come on any given day. It usually doesn't when it's supposed to.

Americans get far fewer paid vacation days than the rest of Western Culture.
At this point, there's no denying it.
We're a socially regressive nation.

People who celebrate that are assholes.
I feel strongly about that.

Very true. And yet they still seem to be able to have great economies and to be able to afford national health insurance, maternity and day care paid benefits, and weeks more paid time off than WE have. Imagine that.

Many of them are just for public sector employees like post office employees or for banks.

Frankly, I think that 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and secular Christmas are all the specific day holidays that we need.
We're socially accustomed to them is the only reason. I can personally do without the rest.

BUT additionally, there should be one three day weekend every month.
They don't need holiday names.
People need a Monday off that often to stay sharp. They need to get away for the weekend. Maybe play golf.

Americans have to work smarter, not harder.
Calvinist Work Ethic is a psychosis.
European nations seem to be way ahead of us in that regard.

Secular Christmas? Christmas itself is a celebration of the Christian religion, and you prefer to have Christmas as a holiday
so long as it doesn't involve religion, or of having a religious connotation. Well, at least you're in tune with the rest of your
leftists who are anti Christian secularists. Perhaps you could create another holiday that worships Satan.

Didn't you bitch earlier about Juneteenth?

I was surprised that the #TangerineTyrant didn't unmake Juneteenth as a federal holiday. Yet.

Workers of America, your #IMPOTUSx2 believes that you need to work more and have fewer paid days off.

And the most ironic thing is that he's a federal employee and his calendar was pretty empty on June 19. He showed up at 11:30AM, spent 5 minutes looking at the pics on his daily briefing, the nothing until the 5-minute swearing in ceremony at 2:30PM. Certainly not a full day of work with a packed schedule. :ROFLMAO:

Wow. Hater, once again, proves he's both a hater and not a Christian.

I'll pray God to forgive him because he's "slow".

In the baby jebus's name?

I don't think eleven annual holidays is excessive.

More importantly, I don't know if a president who plays thousands of hours of golf is the proper person to render judgement on how much time off is too much time off.
So far he's spent a quarter of his time as president on the golf course, to the tune of $51 million of our taxpayer dollars. Now wait for the maga response about Biden on the beach. ;)

"According to the website DidTrumpGolfToday.com, the president has golfed 37 out of his first 152 days in office. That is nearly a quarter — 24.3% — of his time during this second term out on the golf course. The bill for that comes in at a whopping $51,800,000.

That’s right, nearly $52 million spent golfing since January."
