Regardless, the Republicans are getting their chance at bat and I think they'll do nothing with it. What they will do is prove that they've become the Wackadoodle Party with MTG, Walker, Oz, Gosar and the other nutjobs speaking nutty shit from the Capitol steps every day.

The Republicans would be fools to push for impeachment. A better course is to investigate his son Bagman and everything associated with that. Given that another business partner of Bagman has come forward and is saying that Joke was directly involved in Bagman's corrupt and sometimes illegal business dealings, just getting the proof out of that would end Biden's presidency in utter failure on its own.

They're about to elect a lot of Alt-Right, Alternative Facts wackadoodles. The senior leadership will resist, but they'll be overwhelmed. Remember how Pelosi resisted the first Impeachment? She knew it'd end in failure leaving it all to become a Show Trial and wasting both taxpayer time and money. It was the younger mob, the most recently elected, that pushed for it. They had passion but no experience...or brains. The senior leadership knew how it would end but could only delay call for impeachment.

McCarthy will do the same thing and, IMO, will end up the same way with a Biden Show Trial. $20 says Biden shows up and doesn't plead the Fifth. :thup:

They'd be better off going after his son. Hunter is an obvious trainwreck and there's mountains of evidence in existence to make that happen. From there, all they have to do is tie "The Big Guy" into any of that, and Biden is finished. Let him sit out his term unable to do anything, with likely the lowest approval ratings in history.
The only way they should go the impeachment route is if out of that it becomes crystal clear that Joke was up to his eyeballs in corrupt and even illegal business practices--and he certainly is stupid enough to have engaged in those--and the Democrats are onboard with ousting him because they have no choice.

In that scenario, it's one of Biden's gotta go because we're totally fucked in 2024 if we don't get rid of him. Defending a corrupt criminal in the White House is something neither party wants to do. That's the Nixon scenario.

Another scenario here is the Republicans subpoena the laptop from the FBI and the FBI can't produce it or somehow everything on it is corrupted or erased. Talk about a trainwreck for the DoJ!

Hunter should be the Republican's target.

Are you seriously trying to make Hunter Biden part of his daddy's impeachment? Based upon what evidence? Evidence, not conspiracy theories.

I strongly doubt Biden will run again. Jill won't want it. Neither will Melania, for that matter, but I expect Trump will just go it alone. Notice Melania stays out of sight.

You'd have to either be a complete idiot or studiously oblivious not to recognize that Hunter's business deals only happened because of his family name and connection to his father being VP of the US. His business partners say Joke was involved up to his eyeballs. There's pictures and documents that show Joke was involved. They're both rather stupid, and stupid usually means you make blunders that are easily found.

So far, the FBI and other alphabet soup of agencies has been able to keep a lid on it. Take that lid off, and Biden's finished.

Hunter graduated from Georgetown and Yale law. He is not stupid. He has been a lobbyist. He was offered a job by Burisma and took it. What a crime. He had a drug problem, which it appears he beat. Has Trump conquered his Adderal problem? Trump says you should not attack his family, but other families are fair game.

Because it is inevitable. By about 2037 the revenue will only cover about 70% of benefits.

Instead raising taxes which also reduces a person's total income we could cut/eliminate those parts of Social Security which were not included in the original law--early retirement at age 62, full benefits at full retirement age regardless of income, etc.
