Y’all know Bad Bunny is an American, right?

No, they have to wait until they're 18, so there is ZERO reason to register them to vote until then. If voting is so important a thing, then registering to vote is at least as important as getting a license and no more hassle. Therefore, they should have to wait.

But both aforementioned bills that provision in them. The next step--and there's always a next step--would be to allow them to vote at 16 and 17. The point I'm making, and it's not about the driver's license, is that someone who isn't eligible to vote shouldn't be registered to vote.

That's quite a slippery slope you came up with there. I'll go get my sled! lol

I think it's a great idea and I approve of it. Any citizen who believes that voting is a sacred rite would agree. Our election participation rate has always been very low for a country whose citizens claim to love it so much. Anything to encourage participation is a good thing for everyone. It makes you feel as though you are part of something, that your voice can be heard. Why is that a bad thing? They're not mandating that you vote, nor will they.

Unless, of course, your #FatFelonFuehrer gets his way. Then our ballots will only say "Reichsfuehrer Trump." (I'd put a laugh emoji here but it's too possible to be funny.)

See? Both sides have their fears. Only ours are real.

you like to misguide children and then have their dumb votes count.

for shame.....

I am fluent in 3 languages and have conversational status in another 4. I love traveling and exploring new cultures. I tend to move every 2 yrs.

You remind me a lot of my middle (VT) daughter. She has loved traveling since she was little. Her job asked for volunteers to go to India next month to train some new hires.* She volunteered! She has to get shots and other stuff plus bring meds with her. Couldn't pay me enough to go there, but she's excited.

* Of course I told her they're probably going to be training their replacements. :(

Really? What possible reason is there to register someone to vote that is ineligible to vote and then tell them, you are registered to vote but cannot vote? What lunatic rational is that?

You think registering people who can't vote in our elections to vote is a good idea? You are totally insane.
