U.S. officials declined to give details on the fresh intelligence and analysis that led the Energy Department to change its position. They added that while the Energy Department and the FBI each say an unintended lab leak is most likely, they arrived at those conclusions for different reasons.

The updated document underscores how intelligence officials are still putting together the pieces on how Covid-19 emerged. More than one million Americans have died in the pandemic that began more than three years ago.

This is like having a major waterway suddenly poisoned by the exact same chemicals that the giant factory uses that sits on the banks of the river upstream and saying........ 1. Does Gain Of Function research on corona viruses.

2. The "bat lady" uses furin cleavage to manipulate corona viruses for GOF.

3. 3 researchers at the Wuhan institute came down and were hospitalized for a severe respiratory illness just
before COVID was identified in Wuhan

4. Furin cleavage only rarely appears naturally

5. The wet market doesn't sell bats that time of year because they are hibernating.

6. The bat caves are over 800 miles away from Wuhan.

7. No intermediate host has ever been found.

8. COVID somehow "magically" jumped 800 miles from the caves to Wuhan without infecting anyone in between.

9. Workers at Wuhan said it originated in the lab.

10. Workers that said it originated in the Wuhan lab have disappeared.

11. China has destroyed all Corona virus samples at the Wuhan lab.

12. China has refused to cooperate on finding the source for COVID.
