They get a chance to get ahead, and out of poverty, dippy. It's called fixing what we've done. All the things put on African Americans, from segregation, to racist views, have made them have to work ten times harder, and sacrifice a lot. Giving them a chance at greater learning, because of the past is a good thing. Lets get this straight though. They don't cheat, they get scholarships thanks to charitable foundations, and working with the colleges. It's not them getting into prestige schools, like Yale, a mostly white college. Also many get in for athletic prowess. The college basketball, and football teams, aren't chomping at the bit to get whites, because they just don't supply the numbers.
