T.M. Landry, a school in small-town Louisiana, has garnered national attention for vaulting its underprivileged black students to elite colleges. But the school cut corners and doctored college applications.

BREAUX BRIDGE, La. — Bryson Sassau’s application would inspire any college admissions officer.

A founder of T.M. Landry College Preparatory School described him as a “bright, energetic, compassionate and genuinely well-rounded” student whose alcoholic father had beaten him and his mother and had denied them money for food and shelter. His transcript “speaks for itself,” the founder, Tracey Landry, wrote, but Mr. Sassau should also be lauded for founding a community service program, the Dry House, to help the children of abusive and alcoholic parents. He took four years of honors English, the application said, was a baseball M.V.P. and earned high honors in the “Mathematics Olympiad.”

The narrative earned Mr. Sassau acceptance to St. John’s University in New York. There was one problem: None of it was true.

Could this forum's expressions of racism be representative of the American south? It seems that it is and this board is an outlet for it.

I hope the police are monitoring this board because it really sounds like it's getting close to the point where the racists are going to start acting out their frustrations.

Maybe somebody who knows who they are could start a thread listing them?

You think racism doesn't exist in other parts of the country?

That's a nice sentiment. Actually there has been an infiltration of "law" enforcement by white supremacists/nationalists.

I'm thinking that it might be useful to list the racists permanently in a signature but I'm not familiar enough with all of them to name them and I don't want to make accusations without solid proof. Such as CFM who is a declared racist. And a few more?

No, I understand that it does, and also in Canada. But I suspect that the number of racists in the US south is likely to be something like 3 times the number in the north. I'm just suggesting that they should be named and then let the guilty parties deal with it.

No guessing though, only those confirmed racists such as CFM and ??

Sure, he's already named himself. Repeatedly. Name-n-shame? They have none. We have politicians who run and win on their white supremacist/nationalist credentials. People in america always want to blame someone else, there is no real sense of personal responsibility in america, never has been, that's denialist sloganeering, and blame is our escape from responsibility.

Can you white-hating racist liberals who insist blacks are mentally equal to whites explain why

1. Black-americans come in last in all standardized tests. Asian-americans do fine on all the tests so it's not due to cultural bias in the tests.

2. Africa is by far the poorest and most backward continent on the planet. All of black africa is now controlled by blacks and has been for decades so it's not due to racism.

3. No black has ever won a Science Nobel Prize unless you count one in 1979 for the semi-science of economics. They have won many nobels in non-brain fields like Peace and also in Literature so it is not due to racism.

4. Out of 1552 chess grandmasters in the world, only THREE are black.
