Will JEB! drop out after South Carolina?

It looks like, IF the polling is correct, that Bush will get less than 5% of the vote in his stronghold of South Carolina.

It seems it would be pitiful for him to go forward after that only to face more defeats including in his own state of Florida.

Trump attacked JEB!'s brother about lying us into the war in Iraq and jumped in the polls of Republican voters. Trump attacked JEB!'s brother over not keeping us safe on 9-11, and Trump went up in the polls of Republican voters.

Finally the Bush's have been told what the verdict is on their family...

Will they get the message and quit?

If so, who will get JEB!'s 2%?

I think as long as he is ahead of kasich and Carson in South Carolina then he will stay in until Super Tuesday. I do think Carson will drop out after South Carolina though.

if he stays in he can say stuff

he is part of the republican power structure

Its a way for them to attack viable people

Who do you think gets Carson's vote? Not that there is much of it...

I suspect it gets divided fairly evenly between Trump and Cruz.

I don't see them going to Rubio, he is establishment and Carson voters are very anti-establishment.

They think Cruz was the reason he lost Iowa, even though it really wasn't, and so I just don't see then voting for Cruz. Look how many so called conservative republicans are voting for Trump even though he isn't either of those things. Carson voters should vote for Cruz but I don't think they will.

I do love how easily accepted the fact that Bush lied us into a war is accepted, even in South Carolina and among Republicans.

There was a time saying that would likely put you in physical danger, especially in South Carolina. Now it gets you the Republican nomination.

Jeb should drop out now. He has ZERO hope of winning the nomination. If Jeb really doesn't want Trump to win then he would drop out now. All he does is allow the vote to get split while Trump racks up delegates.

I agree with your analysis, the more JEB! is in the race, the more it gives Trump an opportunity to poke at the Bush Family for what they did in Iraq. GWB should be in prison for what he did, I guess we will have to settle for public ridicule of his family.

well you believed that if you like your insurance you can keep your insurance, so people will believe just about anything won't they?

People don't care as this was debunked long ago.
It's more a case of Jeb shunning his brother and now looks for anything to save his bacon.

Really, you think so...

Why did Trump go UP in the polls after pointing it out?

Jeb blew it - he could have been the frontrunner, but he was blindsided by how Trump campaigns, and didn't know how to react for a few crucial months there.

It's too bad; he & Kasich are both pretty reasonable nominees on the GOP side, and would have stood a chance in the general. Now, the party is left with the extremists & a complete clown.
