Will Hamas tunnels in Gaza make a difference?

Will Hamas tunnels in Gaza make a difference? I don't think so.

Remember from history, the Maginot Line didn't make much of a difference in 1940. The German Ost Wall in 1944 was little more than a speed bump. The German Atlantic Wall lasted all of a day versus the Allied invasion...

The tunnels are going to be a huge problem. Maybe not insurmountable but still a huge problem. If it weren't for the hostages Israel could just flood them and kill whoever crawls out.The Maginot Line didn't work because Hitler just avoided it. Israel can't avoid these tunnels again because of the hostages.

Even Jew life has been cheap to the Zionists Oct 7 onwards, many of the Jews killed that day suffered from IDF bullets.

I expect the IDF will likely gas the tunnels as if they are killing cockroaches, hostages be damned.

I like the current guerilla hit and run tactics they're using.

They will have to be meticulous with the tunnels. It will slow them down some, but time is on the Israeli's side.

The only issue w/respect to the tunnels is hostages. I believe they are being kept in the tunnels.

Otherwise, Israel could simply seal the tunnels with explosives and kill a good number of terrorists.

Yup.

First time agreeing with you but this is correct.

If not for the hostages, they would flood them or just seal every entrance they found with everyone inside.

Now instead they will be forced to march almost single file for miles down unknown long tunnels where the enemy knows the ambush points. One man can beat a thousand men, if the thousand are forced to march single file towards him and he has good shielding and good weapons and the ones approaching have no where to go.
