Let's see.... prior to taming the public sector unions, massive budget deficit and projected collapse of public sector pension plan in less than 10 years. After taming the unions, balanced budget, school districts who were facing budget shortfalls are not only no longer facing shortfalls, but actually able to benefit the students through increased programs and smaller class sizes, and public sector pension plans rise from 87% funding to 100% funding. The numbers and figures are scattered throughout the news and Wisconsin state government documents. Of course there are other factors were involved - most of them vehemently opposed by the "money grows on lilac bushes" liberal faction. But an enormous part of the change in budget projections comes straight from taking unions down a step, and insisting that union members actually start paying SOME of their own way. Wisconsin public sector employees still pay less than 2/3 for their pensions and health care plans in comparison to private sector employees, but at least it is a tiny bit more fair. Far from being "anti-middle class" the liberal pundits claim, this move is actually PROTECTING the middle class from unfair and unreasonable tax burdens to support unreasonable labor contracts in the public sector.
Do try to remember, all you big mommy government twits, that we still live in a society wherein most people do NOT work for the government. I know you guys would prefer a world in which everyone were on their knees sucking government jizz for their living, but we aren't there yet. As such the PEOPLE (ie: those outside of the government) are benefiting from these changes in government fiscal policies. And since government, INCLUDING THEIR EMPLOYEES, first job is protection of the PEOPLE, this is a good set of events taking place.
Do try to remember, all you big mommy government twits, that we still live in a society wherein most people do NOT work for the government. I know you guys would prefer a world in which everyone were on their knees sucking government jizz for their living, but we aren't there yet. After 50 years of UNIONS AND collective bargaining, public sector employees make LESS then their private sector counterparts. And in the case of teachers with college degrees...MUCH LESS.
They created a MODEL health insurance trust that turn 94 cents of every dollar into health care benefits. 6 fucking percent goes to operating costs and pay for the people who run WEA Trust. WHERE IS THE MALFEASANCE...you bunch of un American GARBAGE???
