You’re not wrong to say/imply if you don’t want children then don’t have sex. But that also goes against human nature. Try telling a college campus full of kids, for example, that no one should have sex. That’s just not going to happen.
You can use condoms and birth control and they greatly reduce the chance of pregnancy but even that’s not guaranteed.
While I might prefer they abstain until marriage, its pretty easy to avoid getting knocked up.
