Congrats.... you elected a President that is twice as bad as Bush... so you don't get a mulligan
once again you're dishonestly misrepresenting what i said. its gets old.
further, why is it you keep running from picking which is it: did he create it; or did he simply fail to stop it? those are two different concepts. additionally, you have yet to explain, how bush alone, created or failed to stop (depending on which side of the mouth you're talking from) the economic downturn. and again, it is absolutely the height of partisan bullshit to blame only bush. that you promote proves beyond any doubt that you're a hack.
Why did Obama win the Presidency with ZERO business experience over a man with a much better track record of service to this nation?
It is a fucking poll Jarud....
Bush's inaction, on something you & Damo both agree he "knew" and "warned" about, definitely created the crisis.
Why are you so dedicated to protecting him? I really don't get it. He was Prez, steward of the economy, for 8 years - and had a GOP Congress for most of those years. Do you really see him as some sort of innocent bystander on the economy for those years? Someone with no control over domestic policy, or even influence?
How do you remember Carter? He gets pretty much universal blame for the economy of the '70's, which I don't really dispute, and he was only in office for 4 years.
You seem to think Bush was just a caretaker or something...
Just got to hear George Schultz speak at lunch. Wow. Wish a 90 year old could run for President. He is truly a sage. I really liked his part about how things like cash for clunkers and temporary payroll tax breaks are nice short term gimmicks but do nothing for big picture growth. That would take real tax and entitlement reform which we haven't seen other than Ryan's proposal. He also spoke about health care reform and how it will go back to the wage and price control of the '70's and we will have shortages of doctors and care.
What a brilliant contribution to the thread topic.
Perry is in the lead because Teabaggers like his views on Social Security, which he thinks is unconstitutional.
what are you? 13?![]()
I'm not being dishonest; you have no idea what you say on this site (and I'm not the only one who notices that, btw). I'm still stunned about your Libya/Iraq denial; that was something you posted countless times.
As for this, it is unsurprising that you're falling back on the ol' "yer a hack." You have nothing. You're in a bad position, trying to defend 8 years of Bush's complete negligence on the economy & domestic policy....
Creepy.
Stick to mouthing off about killing cops.
You live in Texas. Why do you think Perry will be the GOP candidate?

yep, ignore the substance and focus on your YOU'RE A LIAR obsession. carry on. your thread derailments are beyond boring, they are creepy.
trying to defend 8 years of Bush's complete negligence on the economy & domestic policy..???
And there is the problem.....BDS.....
Bush presided over a country at FULL employment for over 7 years.....averaging less that 5% unemployment....
A growing an stable economy IN SPITE of a horrendous terrorist attack on the very center of economic life in the US, The World Trade Center......
That alone is an achievement unmatched by anything Obama could do in his wildest dreams....\
He lost political control of Congress and that ended his reign of power....
And this is one of my fave arguments from bravs.
I'll just bet that you thought the head of Enron did a smashing job, right until they went belly-up. Why, the bonuses were good most of those years!
Ironic...there you have it....
"no one can address my points." There are no points; there is no substance. You offer very little save for ill-informed generalization & fabrication.
Sound familiar ?
The head of Enron went to jail....he was never President....its irrelevant.
Don't you find that a little ironic, after you post that I'm "dishonest" about a dozen or so times today? What's the difference, Yurt? Hint: there isn't any, except that I'm telling the truth.
As for "substance," you have delusions of grandeur. You're kind of always like that - "no one can address my points." There are no points; there is no substance. You offer very little save for ill-informed generalization & fabrication.
