Israel left Gaza in 2005. That is 17 years ago. All 9,000 Jews were forcibly ethnically cleansed in the name of "peace". Many were born there. Others lived there for decades. All expelled. Every settlement is destroyed.
If the Gazans wanted peace, prosperity and freedom, it has been there for the taking since 2005. All they had to do was build a state, and leave Israel alone. There would be no blockade, no wall, no checkpoints, no airstrikes. Gazans would now be rich and free. They could have a booming tourist industry on the Mediterranean.

But Gazans don't want to be rich and free. They want other things. They want land, honour, blood and vengeance. These things will not make them happy, but that is what they want and what they pursue. And so they keep attacking Israel, even though Israel is gone. And so they have fired thousands of rockets at Israel. And so Israel has to keep coming back to bomb the aggressors. And the western Left, like the morons they are, encourage all this.

Iran’s regime appears to be on an execution spree. It murdered wrestler Navid Afkari in September and hung journalist Ruhollah Zam this month after kidnapping him from Iraq. Iran’s regime is not afraid to kill people: It gunned down some 1,400 protesters last year.

What the regime is showing through the high-profile executions is that it can kill journalists and athletes, people who should be protected by modern human-rights laws, and it can do so publicly and openly.
Iran also illegally kidnapped a man named Habib Chaab from Istanbul. The regime is holding up these hangings to the world as a provocation to see how countries react.

Iran’s regime does this for two reasons. First of all, it wants to show that amidst US pressure and European appeasement, it can do whatever it wants. This builds on years of attacking countries such as Saudi Arabia, mining ships in international waters, launching missiles at foreign states, funding illegal militias and trafficking weapons all over the Middle East. No other regime in the world does this. Iran’s point is that international laws don’t apply to it.

CNN)Iranian authorities say they will restrict internet access in the country until calm is restored to the streets, as protests over the death of a young woman in the custody of the morality police rock the Islamic Republic.
Thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets in protest since the death last week of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was apprehended in Tehran and taken to a "re-education center," apparently for not wearing her hijab properly.
Since Friday, demonstrations have taken place in at least 40 cities nationwide, including the capital Tehran, with protesters demanding an end to violence and discrimination against women as well as an end to compulsory wearing of the hijab.

Dozens of protesters have reportedly been killed in the resulting clashes with security forces.
