I don't know about "most widely viewed murder in the history of humanity." Back during the bush admin there was a video of Nick Berg and photos of Rachel Corrie right after she was killed.

No one gave a shit when corrie was killed, but people cared a lot about Neda, as she was an innocent victim standing on the street, not a lowlife terror apologist/supporter.
