Why do conservatives think the military is more imporant than education?

You have to quit getting your news sources from Faux news and actually read some real history. What was Carter going to do? Invade Iran and start World War III with the Soviets? Yea...smooth move there ex-lax! As for the economy...more stupidity. The economy had already been tanked for several years before Carter was elected thanks to those wonderful policies by Nixon such as wage and price controls, non-direct convertability of the US dollar, the Arab Oil Embargo, irresponsible growth in spending without the revenue to pay for the spending (hmmm does that one sound familiar?). Where as Carter actually took big political hits by adopting the fiscal policy that ended The Nixon ear of Stagflation. Policies that were adopted and embraced by Ronald Reagan.

Yes...he only managed to keep us out of war. Where as your Hero W managed to be asleep at the wheel while terrorist flew jet liners into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon killing thousands of US citizens to which your hero invaded a nation that had nothing to do what so ever with those attacks but hey...he did manage to kill a few hundred thousand innocent brown people so I'm sure you cool with that!

But the military industrial complex does not make any money if we do not go to war. As the father of one draft age son and one about to be draft age son, the shitwads in the GOP scare me shitless.
