Why are we negotiating with Iran?

Dumb Trump thought Iran would surrender and their government would collapse after two days, so four weeks into his war he's desperately looking for an off ramp.

Is it worth 5 additional days? I dunno. On the one hand its only been a month so there really is no need to rush and we havent stopped bombing and honestly on the Lebanon front the longer this goes the more likely it is the Sunni and Christians expel the Shia due to the stress they have placed on the state. On the other hand its 5 additional days of going after what is probably lower tier targets. Although I guess I havent seen a lot of tanks blow up yet and that has to be taken care of before any revolt happens.

Trump does not pay attention to briefings. He believes he can sense what is true. He feels an attack in his bone...spurs. He is a horrible, unevolved person and a miserable president.
 
I just hate to think what concessions that desperate Crazy Trump will have to make to end the fighting.

That is a good question. Are we actually negotiating with them? If so, who?

What Trump says is there are talks with certain individuals but we are unsure if they can speak for the Iranian people.

There was no war. This was a military action that took out a rogue regime in the hopes of replacing it with one that protects human rights and does not pose a threat to their neighbors.
