Was it me?
The lower prices would mean there'd be less money to distribute to workers.
Yeah. But a deal is a deal. If debts would not adjust neither would wages. Sorry charley. Fairs fair.
The lower prices would mean there'd be less money to distribute to workers.
The effectiveness of the money based social hiearachy is intensified with inflation. That's why assholes like it.
Actually, assholes like it because deflation tends to spin out of control, while inflation does not.
Also, deflation discourages investment, and increase banker profits.
It's bad for people who owe.Yeah Damo. Deflation is bad for debt holders.
This would depend on how much debt you owe. The debt doesn't go away. But inflation benefits them. Out of control deflation benefitst the little guy.
Sound business is sound business despite currency artifacts. Good investors would always consider that.
This would depend on how much debt you owe. The debt doesn't go away.
That is simply untrue. And wages don't change either.
You're simply a pseudo-intellectual hack.That is simply untrue.
You're on a roll. Two false statements in a row.You're simply a pseudo-intellectual hack.
Show me where I said that. It is simply untrue... so that now makes three false statements in a row.But we're getting ahead of ourselves. You still need to explain inflation is actually deflation.
Show me where I said that. It is simply untrue... so that now makes three false statements in a row.
I think it's post #2. You said inflation is the beginnning of deflationary spiral.
Edit: it's #3.
Well, since the economy is cyclical, i.e. you go from one inflationary period through a deflationary period and back to an inflationary one, I'd have to agree with his statement at least in some respect.
And for Watermark, it is a bit early for the victory dance. The government spending hasn't even hit the streets yet.
Immie
Economies don't have to be cyclical. That has just been the pattern of manipulation and bubble creation so far, so that we won't believe it as they throw us off the cliff.
Oh really? Name the last period of either inflation or deflation that continued on forever... barring the deflationary period we are in today which will end eventually.
By the way, you have proven yourself retarded many times over, so if I am then I must be in good company.
Immie
If you look at his first post, you will note that inflation is getting smaller not larger. Since it went from 4% to .03% (yes from a whole number of 4 to 3 one-hundredths) or so.I think it's post #2. You said inflation is the beginnning of deflationary spiral.
Edit: it's #3.

Past performance is no indication of future performance.
It's still retarded to view massive money creation as " the beginning of a deflationary spiral".
And for Watermark, it is a bit early for the victory dance. The government spending hasn't even hit the streets yet.
He said massive inflation is the beginning of deflationary spiral. That's retarded. Asserting that because "the market is cyclical" is retarded.Where the hell did I say that massive money creation was the beginning of a deflationary spiral? I simply stated that Damo is correct when he says that every inflationary cycle is begun by a deflationary cycle and vice versa.
