Who is willing to defend United Airlines?

What do your stats say about the people who were shot, holding or pointing something that made it appear they were armed?
Those aren't my stats. Those are Yurt's stats that were meant to disprove my claim. Was the Dr. holding or pointing something?

Actually you surprise me as normally you are very against people standing up to authority. This guy had been escorted out of a secure area and he ran back in again, it was the Feds that removed him not United.

He was beaten before he ran back into the plane,no doubt to get his carry on luggage

He did that before he was forcibly removed, not after, which is why the Feds became involved.
Then why was he bleeding when he re entered the plane?

From the article.

"Knowing what I know about airport security, I’m certainly not going to run back into a secured, federally restricted area at an airport flailing my arms and screaming like a banshee…because, you know, that just happens to be breaking a major federal Homeland Security law."

Did it occur to you that a pilot's wife knows more about the topic than the average passenger?

Did it occur to you that the pilots of the plane denounced the actions taken by United?

Ok, you may be right about that, the trouble is the pilot's wife is quite correct. The media rarely gives you the full story, it is almost invariably just enough to bolster their viewpoint.

Well if that's the case then why did he sit down and refuse to leave, if he only came back for his hand luggage?

As you mentioned in the other post, we didn't get the whole story/video. I only know that he was bleeding in the scene where he was talking about 'getting home'.

I believe that this is the real story!

The story as I understand it is that United Airlines had a flight from Chicago to Louisville that was full/overbooked. It was a Sunday evening flight, so many people were probably returning home to start work the next morning. They let everyone board until the plane was full. Then, AFTER everyone was boarded, they asked for 4 volunteers to be removed from the flight. They needed 4 seats so that United Airlines employees could take them, as those employees needed to work a flight out of Louisville the next morning.

No one volunteered, even after being offered compensation. So they started "randomly" picking people to kick off the flight so the UA employees could have seats. The first three begrudgingly but willingly (according to reports) exited the plane. The fourth, a doctor who claimed to have to see patients at the hospital the next AM, refused.

Chaos ensued. They called the police and had police/UA security physically drag him off the plane, splitting his face open in the process. It appears that he didn't fight back, he just refused to cooperate.

Save for the 'overbooked', this seems like an accurate depiction.

Pay attention, I've already asked that a while back and posted a screenshot. You of course were out to lunch!
