White House: "Even Hitler didn't gas his own people."

Bit of play on words here. Nazi's certainly did not think of Jews and others they sent to concentration camps in Germany as citizens.
 
Hitler never used chemical weapons on the battlefield, although they were considered for use on the V1 and V2.

But the question is if the White House considers that they were indeed citizens?
 
so what would the answer be today if we asked if the jews here hitlers people? Would they readily agree that they were hitlers people?

Today is not then. I am not being a bonehead here, just stating historical fact. They were stripped of their German citizenship. During that time (at least according to the Nazi's) they were stateless people. As much as I think it was a stupid statement by the Trump administration, legally and technically it is correct.

They would agree that they were Germans. Hitler was the leader of Germany.

Lets ask those killed in Syria last week if they were Assad's people, maybe we bombed for nothing.... I guess Assad didn't gas his own people after all.

Do not play games with me Jarod. You are an attorney. Words and laws have meaning. At the time they were not German citizens according to the Nazi's. Historical fact like it or not.

Come on sailor, certainly you can't really seriously be trying to wordsmith this into something other than Hitler sending German citizens into the gas chambers. Stripping them of their citizenship doesn't change what he did.

Let's face it, Spicer is a major league idiot for even bringing the comparison up.

Can you name any laws stripping anyone in Syria of their citizenship?
