Where's The Women?

True and untrue. I don't know the poll, but I've never seen one that shows 51% of women want to overturn Roe and actually outlaw abortion. But you're right, many women are anti-choice. There's no doubt. I don't know if you've ever read interviews with conservative women who've had abortions, but their a pip. They even want to be seated in a private waiting room because their case is "different' (isn't it always with them?), not like "those other women" (sluts) in the common waiting room. You should hear the excuses they come up with. But no empathy for the other women in the room. They're not like those dirty girls. I mean it is really stunning.

So is that pro-life? I would say it's just really effing confused.
I apologize, I edited my post after you replied. The 2009 poll found 51% of Americans identify as pro-life. I imagine one or two percent were women ;) , My only point is that with their being only one or two percent that separate either way, hoping to ever get public funding in the US is seriously deluded. It's not going to happen and we need to pick better battles. By the way, have you seen the video in Texas with the pro-choice crowd chanting hail satan while the other sided sings amazing grace? Not one of our better moments.

“This marks the first time fewer than half of the nation’s voters regard the practice as morally wrong in most cases in regular surveying since April 2007. In January, for example, 53% considered abortion to be morally wrong most of the time,” said the pollster.

Those describing themselves as “pro-life,” also dipped, from 43 percent in January to 40 percent now, with 51 percent currently calling themselves “pro-choice.” Of likely women voters, 50 percent are pro-choice, 39 percent pro-life

More Americans “Pro-Life” Than “Pro-Choice” for First Time
Also, fewer think abortion should be legal “under any circumstances”

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

Nope it can NOT be anything without the women.

that flesh belongs to her .

you don't get to stick your fingers into her flesh.

There are people who would call themselves "pro-life" in that they would never have an abortion themselves; but that doesn't necessarily mean they want to ban it for others.

Are you kidding? I would join that protest if I saw it. The only way they'd get more support is if they started chanting to C'Thulhu.

Exactly, and there are those who have abortions but don't want others to have the option, I have a relative like that.

No I have never even heard of it, but a lot of people involved in activism are stupid, nuts, and often both. I'm not shocked. I have seen some really stupid shit.
