Where's the calls for jail time for this wife beater?

what you are condoning is the women you claim to love should be ruffed up by the men they know and its no crime

Exactly. I don't condone whatever went down and he's stepping aside as Giants CEO as the incident is being investigated but going to jail?? That's some scary next level feminism.

If your wife takes your phone ... what are you suppose to do, call the Police?

Will he be asked to step down? If he were a Black athlete he'd been in cuffs already and his career would be destroyed.

San Francisco Giants CEO Takes Leave Of Absence After Appearing To Attack Wife
Larry Baer will take “personal time away,” the team said after a bystander video captured him having an altercation with his wife.

I have not seen the video, but obviously this is unacceptable and over the line.

San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer apologizes for 'unacceptable behavior' and takes leave of absence after video showed him dragging his screaming wife to the ground

Would there have been calls for impeachment if Barack Obama "dragged Michelle to the ground"?

I am pretty sure there would have been.

So one spouse can take something/anything from the other spouse and the remedy is ...?
I generally ask for the item to be returned and he generally returns it.

If a person won’t return an item to you, you should wait till they do, or call someone else to appeal to them to return the phone. I, nor my husband, would ever wrestle an item from the other or any other person for that matter, under these circumstances. There are times when it is warranted, if someone’s trying to harm themselves, but not merely because you want the item returned when you demand it, that’s being abusive.

It’s why I don’t think this is the first encounter this couple has had with one another. The interaction shows problems in their marriage.

Supposedly this happened at the end of a 20 minute argument...she then went after the phone...sounds like she was the first one to get "physical" by doing that..so, they share responsibility for the incident going down the way it did.......

Oh yes, definitely. Like if your 8 year old takes your phone and you have to get it back. Grabbing it from the youngster would be a criminal offense. Like, if the boy took crayons from his sister, the Police need to be called for these types of 'crimes'. (Maybe it should be in the Constitution?)

Oh dear Lord, we're now comparing Democrat Larry Baer to the President? That's some amazing virtue signaling. Well played.

Incarceration isn’t necessisarily the punishment in these cases, it is generally counseling and other non jail sentences.

It is possible that a warrant will be issued for his arrest. The incident took place on Friday. With all of the public attention, it seems likely that the authorities will have to act.

Jail time? Who knows? The wife might decline to cooperate.

Hmmmmm ... sounds like a Felony. A few years on Alcatraz should get her mind right.

The 'State' knows best, C.O. . (This looks VERY important)
