when they go low, We kick their asses with facts

yes the founders used the tool of socialism to create this new HYBRID government

they created something the world had NEVER seen before

it took the BEST ideas and combined them to create a nation that all citizens could be involved in

You do realize Marx wasn't born until 1818 right? Engels in 1820. Hegel was only 18 when the Constitution was ratified.

19th century[edit]
The postal system played a crucial role in national expansion. It facilitated expansion into the West by creating an inexpensive, fast, convenient communication system. Letters from early settlers provided information and boosterism to encourage increased migration to the West, helped scattered families stay in touch and provide assistance, assisted entrepreneurs in finding business opportunities, and made possible regular commercial relationships between merchants in the west and wholesalers and factories back east. The postal service likewise assisted the Army in expanding control over the vast western territories. The widespread circulation of important newspapers by mail, such as the New York Weekly Tribune, facilitated coordination among politicians in different states. The postal service helped integrate established areas with the frontier, creating a spirit of nationalism and providing a necessary infrastructure.[17]

this socialism tool grew the nation

the founders knew it would and think you are an asshole

you lie about the use of socialism in the USA

the founders liked the tool you scumbag

The Post Office isn't socialist, if it were we wouldn't have UPS, FedEx, any number of other delivery and trucking lines, or private couriers. Just as the existence of Amtrak doesn't mean we have socialized rail transport. Police and Fire departments aren't socialist, they're not federally funded (for the most part). Taxing and spending in order to provide a public service isn't socialism.

You want socialism but don’t even know what it is. Hilarious.

A lot of people don't know what it is because Bernie and Ocasio-Cortez...and Elizabeth Warren...keep lying about what it is. They say they're for Democratic Socialism, and they know exactly what it is, but they describe Social Democracy when they talk about it so now a bunch of knuckle-draggers think taxing and spending and having a social safety net makes for socialism.

social democracy noun

Definition of social democracy
1
: a political movement advocating a gradual and peaceful transition from capitalism to socialism by democratic means
2
: a democratic welfare state that incorporates both capitalist and socialist practices

Socialism vs. Social Democracy: Usage Guide
In the many years since socialism entered English around 1830, it has acquired several different meanings. It refers to a system of social organization in which private property and the distribution of income are subject to social control, but the conception of that control has varied, and the term has been interpreted in widely diverging ways, ranging from statist to libertarian, from Marxist to liberal. In the modern era, "pure" socialism has been seen only rarely and usually briefly in a few Communist regimes. Far more common are systems of social democracy, now often referred to as democratic socialism, in which extensive state regulation, with limited state ownership, has been employed by democratically elected governments (as in Sweden and Denmark) in the belief that it produces a fair distribution of income without impairing economic growth.

What's weird is how rightwing message board posters will spend years and decades calling western Europeans "socialists", but it is amazing when you point out that the social welfare states of Sweden, Denmark, and France are pretty nice places to live, how quickly they will back flip, flip flop, and back track to insisting Sweden and Norway are not socialist.

Basically, they are all over the map and constantly flip flopping on what they think socialism is. It usually depends on what day it is.

Leading Republicans Call Western Europe "Socialist"

Newt Gingrich has constantly accused the president of being a "European Socialist", often adding in a reference to an all-but-forgotten community activist from Chicago, who died in 1972, but whose Democratic-leaning writings are thought to have influenced the current president

"I am for the Declaration of Independence; he is for the writing of Saul Alinsky. I am for the Constitution; he is for European socialism," Mr Gingrich told voters in Florida last week.

Leading Republicans Refer to Western Europe as "Socialists"

Lately it seems that not a day goes by without a Republican presidential candidate portraying Europe as a socialist nightmare. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum paint a picture of the Old World as unfree, strangulated by bureaucratic and inefficient welfare systems, and unable to reform and modernize. To these Republicans, Europe seems to be the antipode to everything America is meant to be.

because they are lying assholes who don't have good intentions

they are the enemy of this nation

their whole speal is designed to get Americans to vote for the wealthy to rule everything and to destroy democracy

its why the right has been saying for YEARS now that we are NOT a democracy

they want to kill the democratic part of this government the founders planed

because they are lying assholes who don't have good intentions

they are the enemy of this nation

They basically just want to conflate Democrats with Stalin. But their big mistake is when they spend message board careers calling western Europe "socialist" but then have to rapidly beat a rapid retreat and back track when they are asked why the "socialist" countries of Sweden and France are pretty nice places to live.

It's actually pretty funny at that point to see them hollering that Sweden "is not socialist!"

because they are using nothing but lies to back their intentions

their REAL intentions have no rational defense

the people would never vote for what they actually want
