When Monkeys Attack

We are equipt with brains and fists and up close and personal fighting was how "men" use to settle things, now they lob things at each other from a great distance! At one time in history if a king did not follow his men into battle he was considered craven, now it is an acceptable practice!
there are those who would seek the most convenient and easiest ways to control and take from others. Will you submit to their greed or will you participate in the arms race against them?

It's not polite conversation to ask a war veteran, so I'll leave it at that. This isn't about me. Now are you going to answer the question or elaborate on your contradictions?

Thank you for answering by omission. A war veteran? So you have killed people. One might assume you're prone to violence. And I just made it about you. So, are you desensitized to death and destruction? Do you suffer from PTSD?

It doesn't make it correct. We are subjugated...and you are the one that makes note of that fact on here quite often.

yes, currently we are, as far as the types of firearms YOU have determined (through your legislators) we can legally own. So by default, YOU are part of the reason we are not really in control of our government. why do you prefer it that way?

I suffer from PTSD yes, beyond that I refuse to answer, much like you are doing. Are you going to explain your contradiction or do you not have an explanation?

i didn't say violence was preferable, i simply said it has resolved more conflicts in history than any other method. and if civilized means being a defenseless victim to those who are stronger or better armed, i'll take uncivil. you may prefer being a slave, I do not.

Such bull crap. Admit it...you're violent. Typical.

Are you trigger happy? Do you shoot first, and ask questions later? Have you ever killed anyone? Would you like to?

Have you ever been enslaved?

Thank God we are allowed to own guns to fend of the creeps.

You should, considering he was a pope.

I'm Episcopal (Anglo-Catholic) . I could care less about a pope or the pope. Just to be curious, why should I care? The Borgias were infamous, criminal, decadent and power hungry. What does that have to do with tea in China?

Not for me...it clarifies things, though. It's a safe bet your moral compass is off. You have no compassion for others. And the world is your oyster. Kill or be killed. Sad existence.

it's humorous to see an anti/pacifist squirm and make idiotic portrayals of someone they don't agree with.

your 'safe bet' isn't safe at all. My moral compass, while not in line with christianity, is just fine for most people. As for compassion, I have tons of compassion for people in need or people who are unable to help themselves.

I actually detest violence and prefer to avoid it if possible. I just happen to be good at it if I need to use it. Not that this will sway your prejudices any.

Well it has a lot to do with it. for the better part of 1500 years Catholicism was the dominate form of Christianity, as so therefore marks it rather well with regard to 'morality'. I don't need to focus on the Borgias, they simply came to mind first. We could focus on the Anglican founder Henry VIII and his lack of morality, or English tolerance of Catholics in General. For you to mock the religious choice of another is incredibly bigoted and close minded, which goes to show just where your 'morality' lies.
