Back in the day they just couldn't STAND the fact we gave a BLACK MAN his own day of remembrance.

Now they just can't STAND that them GAYS want to get married like normal folk...

...and it's beginning to look like it's going to cost them once again.

Arizona Republicans p*ss off major businesses with ‘Turn Away the Gays’ law

On Tuesday’s edition of “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Maddow discussed the growing backlash against anti-LGBT “Turn Away the Gays” laws that have sprung up across the country. She talked about the massive companies — including Apple and Delta Airlines — that have warned the state of Arizona that they will take their business elsewhere if Gov. Jan Brewer (R) signs that state’s so-called “religious freedom” bill into law.

Maddow pointed out that even some Republicans in Arizona now oppose the bill that they created. Gov. Brewer, she said, has until Saturday to decide whether or not she will veto the bill.

“Ten years ago,” she said, “there was not Republican-on-Republican fighting in this issue.” In 2004, President George W. Bush’s re-election team rode the issue of a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage right into a second term.

Now, however, the Republican Party’s shrill opposition to LGBT people is proving to be a public relations disaster.

Arizona’s senior Sen. John McCain (R)told Politico, “I know that the entire business community is galvanized, in a way that I’ve never seen, against this legislation.”

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) also said that he hopes Brewer will veto the law.

“I hope she moves quickly,” Flake said. “I just don’t see any reason to wait.”

Among the businesses that have issued statements supporting Arizona’s LGBT citizens and criticizing the proposed law are Apple Computer, American Airlines, Marriott Hotels and now Delta Airlines.

Have you priced any decent housing in Arizona lately? It sells like ocean front property and those owners don't want blacks, Mexicans and hell no, no queers around. Pretty amazing to me for a once thriving and very progressive population to have turned so ignorant in so short of a time. Must be something in their water?

They sure running scared from this bill, it's fun to watch.

Those hypocritical Righties are sure funny.

Almost every single one of them voted FOR this bill, yet now they are all crying for Brewer to veto it.

But you just know when all is said and done that they'll be going back to their constituents and telling them how they voted to keep the gays away.

They are such morons, I voted for it before I asked the Governor to veto it.

They better veto it soon, or they will give the Congressional Democrats something to run against.

Bills like these are popping up in places like Kansas and Tennessee as well. It's nothing but a desperate "see what sticks" move for ignorant people.

The Koch brothers are why. Gary Johnson use to run Arizona which is a direct mirror of Alaska. They pay little taxation yet spend just as much and call themselves "Conservative" because they pay less.
