What is woke about the lil mermaid?

Explain please.

What musical influences are found in his "music"?

Rockabilly?

Country western?

Classical?

British invasion?

Broadway show tunes?

Big band era?

What?

I doubt I could explain Van Gogh to a man whose favorite painting is 'Dogs Playing Cards'

So you're equating Notorious B.I.G.'s gangsta rap with Van Gogh's painting?

I think Van Gogh must've cut off BOTH your ears.....

You're very excitable....and appear to be overcompensating in a casual internet conversation. Why?

Wrong.

This started after I gave a very politely delivered and reasonable OPINION about why I think Disney cast who'zhsa-ma-what'sit in the role of The Little Mermaid.

You and a handful of others came unglued.

I've been very cool, calm and collected as I am wont to be.

You forget I've read your responses to others too.

The quote "from zero to sixty" was spot on.

My opinion is that they are afraid of being portrayed as racist by the media and having their potential customers turned against them, affecting their profits.

Total nonsense. The original movie had a white Ariel. The remake has an Ariel who is not white. Why would a remake with the original white Ariel be suddenly seen as "racist"? It's not and wouldn't be, except for those very sensitive souls like the ones here crying about the change.

You know he is terrified of blacks. Remember when he told the story he was approached in a parking lot by a black thug and he surrendered his laptop? :rofl2:

He says anything to appease the church of woke. He probably puts shoe polish on his face and wears "tuck-friendly" garments.

Oh look, another KKKer shows up to freak out about a movie. The bat signal was received. Tell us more, in Ebonics, please. lol

Umm, is this where I'm supposed to say 'Sup my nigger?

Go cuddle with a big stinking thug and say 'sho nuff bebe, they donez shots another unarmed bwack chile who ain'ts dun nuffins!"

Give it up. You're out of my league. I can slice you and dice you like a fresh Vidalia onion.

:rofl2:

Awwww, look like another poor widdle thug lovvah is upthet.

When the nigger knock out game comes to your town, you'll be singing a different tune. Guar-on-teed.

That didn't take long ..got both a story for every occasion and the script all rolled into one... and as always... see my signature... it's perfect...;)

lol at you. Van Gogh didn’t cut off anyone’s ear you fucking ignoramous.

I’m comparing their careers, how they were perceived at the time they were alive. How they interacted with their peers. And most importantly how they influence other artists. Biggie was heavily influenced by country music. Also pop, hard rock, reggae. I consider him a brilliant poet and musician. I find it interesting that you somehow believe rap lyrics have some relationship to a discussion about the little mermaid. Can you explain what you think that connection is?

Cite a quote from who?

BTW, I fixed your fuck up in that post ^^^^.

You're welcome.

You're dishonest for two reasons: One, it appears you do know what I mean since you corrected the post and Two, you committed a Rule 16 violation.

It's okay that you don't want to back up your claim with facts. I really didn't expect that you could due to your mental state.

Aren't there some black women you want to insult today, TOP? Do you call them the N-word from your porch or just scream it at your television?

No shit, you humorless ignoramus.

He cut off his own ear. I bet you didn't even know that. :palm:

Anyway, I was just using the severed ear reference jokingly to imply that your hearing must be severely impaired to draw a parallel between an actual artistic genius in the person of Vincent Van Gogh and some tacky, fat slob, sell out rapper whose entire shtick involved openly boasting about all the money and whores his "art" brought him.

Fuck off.

I’m comparing their careers, how they were perceived at the time they were alive. How they interacted with their peers.

Don't leave out the part about how he, like Van Gogh, was gunned down in drive-by shootings by his fellow "artists".

And most importantly how they influence other artists. Biggie was heavily influenced by country music. Also pop, hard rock, reggae. I consider him a brilliant poet and musician.

What a laugh!!!!

Post some Fattie Small audio/video clips with some of that country music inspired twanging steel slide guitar, or some of those short staccato chords on beats 2 and 4 of the bar that characterizes reggae music.

You're still as full of shit as you were a decade ago. :palm:

You're the one who brought rap music into the conversation when you glowed and crowed and practically creamed yourself over little miss who'szha-ma-whats-it being a protege of Beyonce....

And then, you brought up the subject of Fattie Small.....

Total nonsense.

How do you know enough about the inside the boardroom decision making at Disney Studios to make such a resounding pronouncement?

Here's the difference between myself - an intelligent, rational minded adult, and the crowd you're aligned with - a bunch of emotional, knee jerk hissy fit throwers....

I made it clear from the beginning that I was expressing an OPINION.

A belief.

Not about the quality of what's her name's acting ability or worthiness or any of the other personal shit you've attempted to devolve any possibility of a rational exchange of ideas into - typical of your ilk, btw.... but my own personal assessment about why this particular casting decision was made.

While YOU... OTOH, as demonstrated in the above quote, make PRONOUNCEMENTS.

Rather than SUGGEST.... you instead AVER AS FACT, things that you have no way of knowing about.

Something you do regularly, BTW.

Such is your level of self-white-eousness.

Why were the OSCARS called racist just a few years ago, back when all this "blacks are victims of Hollywood" began, with blacks complaining about how no black films won any awards.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/06/movies/oscarssowhite-history.html

Had you been paying attention, you would not have needed to ask the question to begin with. You'd have known that in our current climate, blacks insist that they have the God given right to be included in everything.

Someone here called the new Disney remake of the little mermaid woke.

I asked what’s woke about it and did not get an answer so I am asking again

What is woke about Disney’s remake of the little mermaid?

It showed an imaginary creature in something other than lilly white skin. And EVERYONE knows that imagination land is a White Ethnostate.

....... Dude, you are barely coherent enough to have a simple conversation with.

I still do not know, in spite of my inserting a word you accidentally left out, which is NOT a rule violation, your weak bullshit notwithstanding, what quote you suggested we discuss.

Try not to be so vague if you want someone to understand wtf you're talking about.

Jagazz.
