Lack of supply because of refineries needing to shut down for maintenance. . As I mentioned long ago refineries all across America have been running at unsustainable rates this summer trying to keep gas prices down on direction from the Revolution. I said that after the election gas prices would go way up again, and that this is exactly what the Revolution wants. They did not quite make it to the election, just a few weeks short.

You are correct. I just drove from WA to TX. I drove though AZ. The price of reg unleaded dropped almost a dollar when I got to Kingman - having just been in Phoenix a few hours earlier.
 
I have said for months that gas prices would explode after the election, it has started early. I also have said that natural gas prices would explode because we are shipping to Europe gas that America needs, and also that when the famine gets here the Revolution will do the same with our food.

PATRICK DE HAAN: We're just talking about an incredible number of refinery disruptions. Keep in mind, it's after the summer driving season. Refineries normally do maintenance this time of year. Typically, that's not a problem. But when you have another several refineries, in the instance of California, several, three refineries down unexpectedly, suddenly there's a massive crimp on gasoline supply. And that's what's causing prices in California to go sky high, so much that Governor Newsom in California eased California's stringent requirements for gasoline effective immediately.

It is not unexpected, refinery utilization has running at unsustainable rates for about a year because we dont have enough refineries and the pollical pressure from the Revolution to keep running has been enormous . Eventually they either get shut down for maintenance or else they blow up....this is a known known.
 
In Arizona gas prices vary by region within the state. Phoenix and northern Arizona generally pay .10 to .40 more for gas than southern Arizona. The reason is Southern Arizona gets their gas from refineries in Texas by pipeline while Phoenix and norther Arizona get theirs from refineries in California. California drives the cost of refining up and that is reflected in the price at the pump.
