We're a pro-choice nation

The mothers actions created the child in the womb. She should give her chid it's right to life

The woman should have the right to make a choice on the issue. But you want the government to do with her body what the government wants.

If you opened your eyes, you would easily see your hypocrisy.

The government jails bodies, taxes bodies, fines bodies, executes bodies.

The unborn child is a separate body.

When that separate body is born, the mother can't kill it.

Why should she be able to kill it before it is born?

What has the child in the womb done to deserve capital punishment

There is no child in the womb.
There is, though, in various stages of development....Didn't you see the recent article from Boston where they operated on the baby in the womb...to correct genetic abnormalities? Again, this is another example of wanted (a baby) vs unwanted (a clump)....What if the parents had decided against the surgery...or there was no team of doctors willing to attempt it? Would it just have been a case of a medical procedure to evacuate some cells instead?

In a vast majority of cases of abortion...there is no baby. There is, essentially, just a clump of cells, that if allowed to continue to gestate could become what will be a baby after being born.

I know we disagree on this, TOP. We've agreed to disagree.

Would those same doctors have operated on the cell-growth during the first month of pregnancy?

We have indeed..but I just wanted to put that out there... and this...every stage of development is a baby that will someday be born... much more than a just a clump of cells.... now back to agreeing to disagree...

If the unborn child was not alive, there would be no need to kill it.

A mother can feel the child kicking. It’s not a clump of cells kicking, it’s a living child, kicking.

I have SERIOUS issue with this position.....first off, anyone who can look at their own children or grandchildren and think to themselves 'at one time, they were just clumps of cells that were parasitical in nature' needs to be permanently sterilized. secondly, ALL live begin as simple cells...............that does not take away the fact that it's LIFE!!!!!!!

I'm still ashamed of my favorite aunt telling me that a pregnancy is just a clump of cells..................especially when she has two daughters and three granddaughters................

Okay, that is allowed.

first off, anyone who can look at their own children or grandchildren and think to themselves 'at one time, they were just clumps of cells that were parasitical in nature' needs to be permanently sterilized.

Permanently, huh! Hummm.

I can look at myself and realize clearly that at one time I was just a tiny clump of cells...and that during my time in my mother's body, I could reasonably be described as "parasitic."

It is my opinion that anyone who cannot see that about themselves really should not be engaging in discussion of anything cerebral. They are not equipped for the job.

There is a difference between "life"...and "a baby." Anyone who does not easily see that difference really should not be engaging in discussion of anything cerebral. They are not equipped for the job.

Oh, okay. Thank you for sharing that. But to be honest, I am not especially interested in knowing whom you are ashamed of...or why you are.

Anything else?

It is completely UNREASONABLE to consider that given the nature of our biologies..........It is my opinion that anyone who can look at their kids, grandkids, or themselves and consider at one time they were parasites isn't equipped for adult quality debates.

Life begins at conception.

The unborn child would not need to be killed if it were not alive.

Roe was voided, more to come.

Well...I can easily overlook that, because I think you are a moron.

So...

There is no child...until born.

Roe was voided, I'll give you that.

And if you troglodytes prevail...there will be more to come. But I think you troglodytes will not prevail.

We'll see.

The unborn child is alive with a detectable beating heart.

That heart stops beating when it is killed.
