The truth is it is a zygote, and embryo or a fetus. Children have birthdays. It's a long way from a pair of cells to a birth. A long process. Upon the completion of the process, a child is born. We have the technology to abort the process early on which is perfectly humane and a valuable tool on an over-populated world.

It is a mystery what those who think every birth should be legally required to proceed full term expect to do about over-populating the planet. Humans have already made such a mark on the planet the habitat is threatened for further expansion. Logically, humans should get coordinated and come up with a plan to avert the looming disaster. Such a plan would not logically involve introducing more individuals into the mix.

It is the mothers child growing and developing in the womb. The childs life starts at conception
 
The unborn child is alive in the womb.

It has its own separate heart, lungs and DNA.

Its heart can be heard and seen…if there is no heartbeat, the unborn child is dead in the womb. If there is a heartbeat, it is alive.

Abortion is the act of killing (murdering) a live, unborn child.

If the unborn child was dead, there would be no need for an abortion.

How do you kill (murder) a child if it is not alive?

that's exactly what happened when Roe v Wade legalized abortion in 1972......and when the courts imposed gay marriage laws more recently.......remember when California voted against gay marriage?.......

I do not. I also do not think a majority should be able to run roughshod over the minority. The minority do have some rights the majority cannot abrogate. But I do not think the minority should run things.

that under your standard, abortion should never have been legalized in 1972......its only accepted by the majority today because we've had two generations raised believing killing the unborn is a good thing........
